Do I detect that the gamers and players have been caught out... I doubt it. This one was always going to be bottom up allocation. Gaming is only for loans above £1m.

It will be bottoms up not %. Set your pre-funding to the max you want My guess is allocation will be between £350 & £400. CD we love you for your DD but don't give up the day job to do prediction !
Sam got £10,000 only 25 times your guess !!
Did I say £350 & £400 That was mistyped... I actually meant £35,000 - £40,000 You know there is a real possibility that one of the BH has just unintentionally bought one of those cottages

live near here, saw this, walked away. good luck guys What makes you say that? I only went for a small amount in this, to rebalance another loan, but as SS offering goes it does not seem to bad. Although I grant the valuation needs to be taken with a pinch of salt as usual.

live near here, saw this, walked away. @bobo: Why? What is it about this loan that you didn't like?

live near here, saw this, walked away. good luck guys Bobo, you are of course fully entitled to your opinion and I respect that. But you do tend to be at the more cautious end of the investor spectrum. A little explanation of your caution in this case would be appreciated. What did you see?

Asked for £10k, got £10K. I'm certainly surprised at that. Only 912 investors. £10k on this 1 loan, you must have balls of steel! I don't even want to know how much all together you have in. I've got just over £10k in banks, I doubt I'll ever risk it all on here never mind 1 loan. good luck to you. Anyway I got my £100!

The regulars on here might have some idea of how much I'm in for as I did once let it slip inadvertently. Anyway, I got what I wanted in this loan. It wasn't a mistake and I am reasonably well diversified both inside and outside SS. Even so, I'm very sure there are bigger hitters on here than me. As for my gentleman's anatomy - I'll take that as a compliment.

last time over there I saw a few too many others holiday cottages underused. So if they fly off the shelves great, but if not...
I do tend towards the cautious side

I expect this is partly because of the short notice on this loan. Am I the only one to use the default PF?

Do I detect that the gamers and players have been caught out... I asked for £1,000 and I got £1,000. This is a very tasty outcome for me because it saves me having to try and snatch pieces on the secondary market. I'm not surprised there was so few investors and so little interest in this one. My stuff on the secondary market is moving along B&Q at a snail's pace and it this rate I still won't have sold some of my loans in a months time. All this massive availability and some of it is in pretty good loans with long unexpired terms, is available all the time. It's a new dawn, it's a new day and I can't see us going back to how it was 6 months ago or 1 year ago or even 2 years ago on saving stream. This type of investing has become more hardcore in the last month and now it's only for the strong willed and daredevils. It's amazing how perception can change, if I'm honest putting a bit in saving stream didn't feel like a risk it all a year ago and now you have to be on top of your Investments everyday managing them to avoid disasters creeping up on you from behind. A year ago you could stick your cash in any loan at all without any due diligence and ignore it for a couple of months and come back to lots of interest. Now I feel it's a daily management undertaking that has to be made by the Shrewd investor. In a very short space of time new words like brexit and Pokemon are turning things upside down and things will never be the same. My guess and it is only that, is that the seven day embargo for reselling a loan if the account balance is negative, has removed from the Saving Stream platform, the activities of the 'wheeler dealers', who were shifting loans about from one account to another, whilst hovering up as many loans as they could!

Just want to check, if I hold say £500 of 122 and I would like £200 more when it goes to 167. Should I set prefund to £700 ? Or is the £500 going direct into 167 there fore need prefund set to £200? Getting confused in my old age.
