I'm having a bad time on the forum today (since 03:00 pm to be exact)
The site seems sluggish, and when I try to write a post (or edit a post) I'm intermittently getting the following (Chrome) and loosing my new/ edited post.
Is it just me, or is there a problem with the board?

Lincolnshire hasn't quite caught up to the 21st century yet... in fact, it's still getting to grips with the 20th century

Site working fine. Try Herefordshire - 19th Century - Strowger switches still in use. The introduced fibre optic to the village I live in and we had 6 months of all manner of problems. Has now been OK for four weeks.

It's still giving me grief... Maybe it's just my internet connection... Lincolnshire hasn't quite caught up to the 21st century yet... in fact, it's still getting to grips with the 20th century I get this "connection reset" thing every so often on various sites and I'm pretty sure it's down to my third world connection. I usually reset the router and go and make a cup of coffee. Resisting the urge to throw the laptop across the room.

Site working fine. Try Herefordshire - 19th Century - Strowger switches still in use Hey, don't knock them, you can build all sorts of nifty electromechanical computing and control engines with those Strowger switches (although admittedly routing broadband phone calls is not their strong suit). I had one running my alarm clock radio / hifi, automatic lighting, and teasmade (homebodge variety) for a long time (OK, a few mains relays too). 8>.
