chris If I may, dropdown menus not working for me on Firefox. All other websites ok on F/fox and the dropdown menus work fine on IE & Chrome. I had that this morning. Turned out to be that ghostery had started blocking Ajax functionality - unblocked it and all back to normal. Genius! Thanks.

I used to use Ghostery and I often had problems, I had similar issues with NoScript which seemed very needy, now I use uBlock Origin and Privacy Badger and rarely encounter issues, I can't remember exactly what Ghostery does but I don't think I need it.

Ghostery are now blocking the "Google AJAX Search API" which is listed as being essential for the operation of some websites. If you remove the block on this, and force a refresh of the AC webpage, the menu's should be OK again. The same or a similiar new Ghostery block also affects this forum in so far as the conversion from a post date to "n minutes ago" (e.g.) fails. Ideaaly Ghostery should be set not to block any essential code. Click the three dots menu on the ghostery popup, and select Advanced blocking options. Edit - cross posted with others.
