(1) fully allocated (99-100%) (2) close to fully allocated (95-99%) (3) unsatisfactory (95% or less)
I have been in group (3) (83%+)since late September. I am pleased to report that last Friday and today my cash deployment has moved from 86.9% to 89.7% and now 94.3%, so I'm nearly into the bands above 95% which I expect not to leave. £394 in bank, so get that down below £150 tomorrow and I might even put some more in for the first time since Sep 30.
16 November 94.6% ....getting there!
Correction - not getting there. So, nothing matched for a week; deployed cash drifting down to 88.9%, now £796 undeployed. Nearly two months since I put any money into BondMason because since the beginning of October there has been between and £394 and £1600 available, and for nearly more than eight nine weeks I have consistently been in group (3) unsatisfactory (95% or less) as assessed by SF. An approximate calculation still shows a current post-fees return of around 7.0% on my whole investment since early August, but no leeway for defaults. edit, 24 Nov. Progress at last. 93.5%, £489 idle. I am pleased that (on November 9) 65% of lenders were in Group (1) fully allocated (99-100%). Good for them! I wonder if all the people like me who have now spent nearly two months in Group (3) will be content to remain there much longer. edit, 28 Nov. 89.1% £778.61 idle. edit, 2 Dec. 91.7%, £621 idle.

oldgrumpy , could it be depending on amount invested? I have a very small portfolio and am now at 96%. But it fluctates wildly due to early repayments and I have been anywhere between 82% and 99% in the past 4 weeks.

yesterday I went from 50% to 98% but I am only a low lender, I never stay in this band for long because as soon as I hit 95% invested I deploy more money into my account, I did deposit a large amount to begin with 1.6k which did take a while but since then I just drip feed my account, as BM grows and lends my funds out I intend to just keep topping my account up, Its only when I get a number of repayments together than my invested amount drops a bit, but I like what BM does and appreciate it, no missed payments to date but I've only been around since July. If I was constantly invested with multiple defaults I would be concerned, I don't expect to put £20 into my account and them get a loan allocation an hour later, I can do that myself with other platforms with a shot in the dark and I've had my hand bitten doing it too, its good to know that my loan allocations are looked at twice, by the initial platform and then by BM itself, before BM I used to sit around on secondary markets, refreshing constantly, using Auto bids buying other peoples rubbish and constantly logging in to see what is happening and getting a telling off the wife for always being sat on my phone and tablet so the 7% that BM are offering is worth a little more to me, thanks Steve and team!

" ... 50% to 98% yesterday ... constantly logging in to see what is happening ..."
Congratulations on that excellent result. I was almost 100% invested in late September. I'm constantly logging in to find out whether to "drip-feed my account" and have never returned to a position ( 95%+) where I could. This morning there is still about £500 there*! What am I supposed to do? My total account is not exactly large at around £7500.
* 28 November £779 uninvested.

not sure to be honest oldgrumpy I did set my investment setting to 2% until I was fully invested then moved it down to 1%, I have found personally that things have started moving again recently averaging 1 loan per day and yesterday they must of run the software that allocates you more loans and BM say they only run that when they reach 90% invested funds? I think from what I read that BM has grown so much that is was on the back step with investors and has been playing catch up but hopefully in the future they will be in a position to plan for this better?

Let's hope so. I don't see how a product stalling on investors' four figure investments (when many will want to deposit five and six figure amounts) can possibly provide enough platform profits to pay the bills, including staff wages salaries.

I don't see how a product stalling on investors' four figure investments (when many will want to deposit five and six figure amounts) can possibly provide enough platform profits to pay the bills, including staff wages salaries. The constraint during the allocation phase is the volume (number) of loans not the value (£) of loans. We are seeking to enable clients to get 50-100 loans every time they invest. Regardless if its £1,000 (and £10 chunks) or £1,000,000 (and £10,000 chunks).

Quick update on the weekly stats: - 30 Sep: 100%
- 11 Oct: c75%
- 19 Oct: 71.9%
- 28 Oct: 81.4% (of which 6.5% in pending loans)
- 14 Nov: 87.2% invested (of which 6.0% is in pending loans)
- 25 Nov: 94% invested (of which 5.5% is in pending loans): although this statistic excludes two deposits totalling £750k received in the week - to keep it representative for most clients. 80% of clients now have at least 90% deployment.
Getting there...thank you for your perseverance over the last few weeks...

Well, you'll need to allocate quite a lot to these two clients now to keep them interested. I'll have to wait a few weeks longer then .... in the meantime my RS withdrawals will have to go elsewhere. Let me (us) know when you actually need more of my (our) funds.

Let me (us) know when you actually need more of my (our) funds. Please see my comment above about volume not value being the constraining factor. The same applies if we have £100,000 or £2,500,000 awaiting deployment. The very good news is that we are getting closer to being able to use our faster allocation algorithm.
