I'm pretty new to FS, so not sure if I've missed an update, the Domain names I made a small investment in look like they should have repaid on 02/08/2016, are there any updates?

I can find two, both appear to be still active.
One due to repay 2/8/16, currently active 185 days, Domain Names (1068145233) One due to repay 12/8/16, currently active 174 days, Domain Names (1732491090)

I didn't realise you could use domains as collateral!
Of the 2 lists, are the domain loan sites part of the same company? What happens if just one doesn't work out?

There is at least one other domain name loan still active (ref 1541902123 due 8/1/17)

Unsurprisingly, the next Domain Name to reach maturity (8079414962) is also about to default - yesterday's comment "default notice sent to borrower"

Agreed - I'm unsure why anyone would have invested in these which are difficult/impossible to value accurately & ditto to sell on in case of default.

Am I the only investor who questions why, having received the proceeds of one domain name and another about to be sold, FS do not see it as appropriate that these meagre funds be distributed? The loan is only 14 months overdue.

(And report back here when you've had a reply, please.) It's only recently that FS have gained the ability to repay loans partially. They've now done this with some of the railwayana loans and the Llandudno hotel, so I see no reason why they couldn't do it for this loan.

FS have given up on getting these sorted in the short term. A loans ended unrecovered & FS have decided to repay lenders capotal themselves. So thank you fundingsecure. Rubbish asset so a return of capital is a good result IMO.
