I am a UK citizen living and tax-registered in France. My UK income is mainly from pensions and I have a small surplus that I want to invest in a P2P site in sterling rather than exchanging it for euros at the current rate. I have contacted several of the main sites (RateSetter etc.) but they say they are unable to accept an investment unless I have a verifiable UK address, which I do not.
Can anyone suggest a P2P site that allows non-UK residents to invest in sterling?

They are not unable to accept you without a verifiable UK address, they just can't be bothered. Savingstream, Fundingsecure, Ablrate all accept overseas investors. There will be others of course. Just takes a little more to get verified with ID, that's all.

Just want to say that Relendex accepts non-UK residents as well. As long as you can pass our usual AML and KYC checks  |
