I topped up my classic with £1000 two weeks ago and it is still sitting in New Money.

Agreed, but that is predictable as reinvestments are much higher around the start of the month.

Ahhh, does that mean reinvested repayment take priority over new money? Yup. That's why there are two queues listed.

Stick it in Plus, just a couple of days wait there.

Stick it in Plus, just a couple of days wait there. True, but confusing, says the queue in plus c.£2,5-£3miilion, lending c.£300-400K per day (so on average say 7 day wait) but you are right money seems to go in a couple of days.

Stick it in Plus, just a couple of days wait there. Not so sure. I put £1,500 in on the 5th; still waiting for the last £130 to match.

The last little bit is probably waiting for a few higher-% loans to balance out your overall estimated return (the system tries to get everyone as close as possible to the estimated return by cherry picking good loans if you're under the average).
There is always a spike of recycled money at the start of the month because the repayments always used to be on the 1st, but this spike has been reduced considerably recently since they changed the default repayment date to be the day that the money was withdrawn. In another 2 years or so the spike will completely disappear. I always used to time new money to arrive towards the end of the month, but this is somewhat less significant now.
