Flood gates? We wish!! More like dribbling leaky lock gates on the Staffs and Worcs Canal! I am new to AC joining in the last week of April - don't know if its my bad luck or what but the only bid I've been involved in has now gone pear shaped, I'm not interested in Wind and AI seems to have stalled for me over a week ago. My toe may end up with frost bite at this rate!

What do you mean star dust ?
edit ....aaah! Just seen it. At least we know that AC's due diligence is a bit more probing than a certain other platform.

Do you remember at the open day Andrew said he was confident that AC would have a £100M loan book by the end of the year. Any idea which year he was talking about?

I appreciate some people don’t seem very phased about events here, but I would not have bid and will almost certainly want my money back. So for me its fallen through (but still has my money in it) even if it does eventually take off. I guess I assumed a certain degree of due diligence would already have taken place prior to an auction, like identity checks for example. It will certainly make me think twice about bidding again. Which other platform are you referring to?

No disrespect to you Merlin but your posts would indicate that, like myself, you weren’t born yesterday and have plenty of business experience, therefore (and no disrespect to Andrew) I’m sure you recognise that MD’s have to be bullish at all times!

I can't say much now on other plans we are working on but based on the liberum atfi index we have grown at 20% per month for the last 6 months. We will close out this month at £30m, June £36m, etc through to December that we close out at £107m. There are plans coming into place that will help deal flow. A

Which other platform are you referring to? Star Dust - I understand your frustration. We do undertake checks and we continue to do so through the drawdown process. There is no panacea database that has every piece of information on every single borrower and sometimes one database may not have a very relevant piece of information. That is why we check multiple times. If the information is correct, we will cancel the auction and you will get your money back. I will not put a deal live that the risk profile is different from that shown on the site. It is your cash, not mine. If you want to discuss in private, please contact me andrew@assetzcapital.co.uk A

Personally I am not phased (or should it be fazed ?) because AC have stated on the loan that once they have checked the facts etc. they are intending to at a minimum re-run or uplift the rate to compensate for risk profile change AND to give the current successful bidders the chance to stay or go. therefore the decision will be in my hands and can be made once AC are in a position to make their report.

Think it's just me being new to AC and getting used to your systems, and possibly being a bit unlucky.

I don't think so, realist perhaps! Pragmatist for certain.
Having been a strong supporter of yours and AC in general almost since you started I sincerely hope you can achieve your self set targets. However recently you seemed to have slowed to a veritable walking pace. By all means keep planning but please let us have some delivery as well.
