I have around 5-10 to come in the next 2 weeks. We wanted to list 3 last week but held back on a number of reasons, including trying to understand more about mortgages on part built yachts to ensure it is plain sailing when it lists (sic).

Let's all hope it doesn't list (sic) too much

Now look what you've started! How are we going to keep this thread on an even keel now?

You're just going to have to be stern about it.

I'm not going to touch that last phrase with a barge pole! But seriously... This is just my luck -- I'm about to disappear again for a few weeks and everything is going to start happening as soon as I go! One thing I would ask andrewholgate about -- and perhaps this belongs in a different thread -- is the Hac**** loan. About the time that some of these new loan opportunities will be reaching the ends of their auctions, the Hac**** loan would be reaching the end of its six-month term (it was drawn down on 14/Feb). The stated purpose of that £2.175M loan was "Property owner who has completed property refurbishment requires 6 month bridging loan to arrange mainstream long term loan." So where does the borrower stand with respect to progressing their refinancing? Based on recent experience, ISTM that unless their plans are very well advanced by now there's a significant chance that they'll be unable to meet the 14/Aug repayment date, so I'd like to hear how they're doing. What are the chances that we'll be able to use our Hac**** proceeds to invest in the upcoming opportunities? Or maybe one of the upcoming opportunities is a follow-on loan for that maturing one?

If you're still going to have access to a phone line don't forget you can call our lender team to discuss new loans after they've been listed and to ask them to place bids on your behalf.

mikes1531, very good point raised. Have you made this query on AC's Q&A page for the Ackney loan? I hadn't. Having been prompted by j, I went to put the question via the Q&A page. When I got there, however, I found that the issue had been raised already. AC's response, on the Overview tab of the loan, was... Most encouraging!

A bottle of Port with a fine Crüe and six knots - not to transposed otherwise we'll wave goodbye.
