Everyone on here seems to be leaving FS at a rate of knots.
FS however don't seem bothered at all, I assume there's plenty of Newbies coming on board to replace us, and then some.

Had you considered that longstanding investors who have been there since the very first loan may still be actively increasing their funds on the platform ? (e.g. me, typically by several thousand pounds a month, every month). Yes, there are poor value loans on FS (as there are on every platform), but equally FS has some of the best value loans anywhere in p2p. 12% for good first charge residential property / 13% for decent second charge residential property* is WAY over priced, 8% and 9% respectively is perhaps a better reflection of the true risk (even allowing for rollup of interest during the term increasing the LTV) I've had one (partial) capital loss on FS since launch - the L***n art, and as I posted recently I have current exposure to 3 distressed loans (2 x speedboats + wind turbine). I struggle to find good value on MT/COL/L. (* e.g. yesterday's Redhill renewal)

What a half dozen that post on these threads? The facts are that loans are filling, so FS must be keeping a lot of people happy, the small loans still fill in about 10 secs. The SM too, is very active, which is positive.

Very happy with FS. As long as you pick your loans then best risk/return out there at the moment.

Me too, I'm broadly happy with FS, and it's my largest platform.
That doesn't stop me complaining and being concerned about the apparent poor management of W'haven, boat and L'derry loans, but there are plenty of other loans which have served me very well, and I take the emergence of turbine and boatyard from their respective twilight zones as quite a positive development for the platform.

I guess they are listening to the BH's who can dump £100k into a loan, they are the guys FS need. Now if my number come up this weekend...

Afraid I am not sure and they would not discuss it at this stage. I am guessing but it could be legals given the complexity of this project or worst case did not make reserve but may be they have got an offer. We will just have to hold our breath!

SWMBO and I will hurt just a little if this one goes down but if the powerboat should hit the metaphoric rocks it will hurt a lot more. Have a fair amount invested in The Provident which has hit trouble water today and has lost just over two thirds of its value. I wont be selling but don't know how long for!

I'm mainly at 1% but of course Sod's law and a fat finger moment means I'm 3% in two or three baduns. I'm still confident of 8%+
