ablrate your updates and engagement with this forum is most appreciated. At well over three years since the default and last monthly repayment do you accept that progress towards an acceptable solution for lenders in these container loans - of which I am one - is perhaps a little slow?

Could take another 3 years yet.

..and Ablrate's pledge: ''we will find a solution to make sure lenders do not lose out'' unfortunately made no reference to any timescale.

Yes, fully appreciated, but Ablrate's pledge was not specific, nor was it provided as being reliant upon any particular course of action. I can provide no details here, but I have experienced a very similar issue on another platform which was keen to ensure that its investors did not lose out. In that case, the investors were fully refunded within a few weeks. This is not a criticism of Ablrate, but it does show what can sometimes be achieved.

ablrate - can we please have an update - however brief? We are awaiting the next move from the IP. We will speak with the IP and create an update. Hi ablrate have you been able to speak to the IP?

Hi ablrate I'm sure the IP must have moved since your last comment on 28 September. Please can we have a meaningful update?

Hi ablrate - Please can we have an update on these container loans? We haven't published an update as we have not had anything substantial from the insolvency guys. They said this in the last few days "I am due to speak with our solicitors this week, and I should be able to give you a more substantive update shortly afterwards. I hope this is okay, but if you have any questions in the meantime please let me know"

Is an update now imminent?

Hi ablrate the last formal update on this loan was mid September, and your last informal update early December. I wonder if now would be a good time for a full and honest update?

Defaulted about 3.5 years ago, and still not resolved. In my opinion Ablrate is a good platform, but these loans must surely be an embarrassment. Thankfully Ablrate has said that investors will not lose out - but it would be nice to know when.

Since this loan went bad I've changed jobs 3 times, moved house twice, and got married once (and still married!). I hope that ABL will honour their undertaking before I retire?
