Very tempting and will likely lead to me investing in FS.
Can I ask, as I am new to the platform, how do the large deposit bonuses work?
If I say invest £5k, do I receive the .5% as extra interest or as a bonus payment? what happens if is say sell half that £5k?
Thanks in advance. Can anyone point me out where the 'large bonus deposit' is described? I see people talking of 5k, but is it necessary to invest 5k in the Platform or all in a single loan to get the additional bonus? Look at any loan with the green 'B' alongside it. It's 5k in one loan.

The fairly large premiums paid to large investors irks me, well, yes, makes me jealous. - I thought this was crowd funding. Why not a simple 14% Much more impressive headline. Potentially much larger investor base, not dependent on a few fickle rate tarts. I thought the same thing doorway ! I had hoped that P2P would have been more egalitarian. OR how about simple cashback where everybody, including small investors, benefits. Of course, I was happy that the loans have been raised to 13% from their original 12%. Some of the loans look interesting and I would have been happy to invest in them at 12%.

I just joined FS, also in view of diversification from other platforms. Am I in time for the bank holiday bonus (I am not sure if FS allows Investments before clearing the balance like SS)? If there any FS FAQ on FS? What is the fastest way to get invested? Their email said, among other things: "We are therefore increasing the base-rate for all property loans with an LTV close to 70% from 12% to 13%. In addition we have added bonuses for larger investments to all property loans available for funding." But they didn't say when it would expire (other than implied by 'Bank Holiday Bonuses'). They do not do INPL, and I am pretty sure deposits are processed manually. They seem to happen very quickly when someone is in the office. Since they have a loan going live tomorrow at 11am I would like to think someone would be there, although I have never deposited on a weekend so make no guarantees. Once you are funded you can invest in the 7 loans currently on offer as well as the new one once it is live. Obviously the fastest way to get invested is to bung it all on whatever is currently available but beware that the SM is nothing like on SS. There are tax implications. Don't forget to look at all the loan details and do your own DD. All that glitters is not gold. Best way to find out about it all is to browse this forum. Best of luck. [Edit. PS If 'Live help' is on line then clearly someone is in the office so you can chat with them about your deposit - I gather they are very helpful.]

Nice to see good communication from the FS team as always. I've been putting part of my portfolio into FS and its nice to see the rates will increase on property for the time being!

So I would say they will probably be on top of deposits this weekend. 🖒

I just sent money over to FS from TSB at 8 PM this evening and the funds had shown up by 8.20 PM. Have done other weekend funding and it's been just as quick.

Two thoughts...
With so many loans -- including some rather big ones -- needing funding at the moment, I'm not expecting the 'Bank Holiday' offer to be withdrawn any time soon.
When making deposits, don't forget to set up a Deposit Tracker to let FS know that your money is on the way to them. Failing to do that will delay the crediting of the money to your account.

fundingsecure, if quite a few regular P2P forum readers haven't clicked that FS interest these days accrues from the day of bidding, even for renewals, I wonder what proportion of the wider FS lender base have yet to cotton on too? Might be worth a second email communication and perhaps a banner message above the Available Loans list saying "Lenders now begin to accrue interest from the day they bid, in both new and renewal loans" (or similar)
