Oh, to be a fly on the wall in those meetings ....!
Ps. Have always found Nice biscuits rather dull myself. Reckon this needs chocolate Hob-Nobs as a minimum.

I always had a pack tucked away in the cupboard for when anyone on a power trip came to visit from one of my customers.  This is possibly why there are a few subtle changes been noted on the SS site today, along with up to date "updates" on every loan i've looked at so far!

I find the quote quote more worrying than funny. At best it means that they still have significant work to do, at worst they are concerned that the platform is not within the allowed activities, ie they may be thinking tat the activity is actually a collective investment and that the P2P wrapper does not fundamentally change that. I would suspect that an FCA official might well keep such thoughts to themselves pending an upward referral.
