On a serious note, I don't blame Lendy for loans running past term or into default. Their communication however in such circumstances is absolutely awful. I mean who are we? Just the folk putting up our hard earned ! The attitude seems to be, we've taken our cut of the interest and couldn't give a sh*te if the investors get THEIR money back! P2P with Bankers attitude and arrogance! To be fair to Lendy, if a borrower backed by their legal team give them an assurance of an 'expected' repayment, Lendy could choose to nothing to investors and be accused of a lack of communication. The alternative is to pass the assurances on verbatim giving the investors the opportunity to spot the 'weasel words' threaded throughout them. They are not in a position to append "We've heard this c**p before, so don't hold your breathe..."

However, truly, I do appreciate the regular comments we are now getting, even if they are the borrowers story, rather than months of radio silence on some loans on competitor platforms leading to skittishness and suddenly large SM queues.

I am pretty sure it will read something along the lines of "We have spoken to the borrower and they have indicated that the loan should be repaid in full before the end of the month and their legal representative has said this is entirely possible!"
However, the month will now be February and that will stay as the usual update...................................Until the 1st of March

You still get the interest and a bonus when the loan repays.

You still get the interest and a bonus when the loan repays. It will only wipe out cashback for lenders who invested when the cashback was announced and then put their holding up for sale. Similar situation for investors over on COLL who bought into the Scottish property that re-financed away from Ly. I'm in this loan and would like it to complete soonest but can't see any point in losing interest on this one when the sales queue is so long.

Let's wait and see what the update has in store this afternoon. One would hope this will be informative, but I will not hold my breath....

Call it extreme if you like, but I propose we hit them hard and hit them fast with a major – and I mean major – leaflet campaign.

I'm slightly baffled by the leaflet thing as well? But yes, I am getting thoroughly sick to the back teeth of loans getting paid tomorrow, for months on end. And I've got about £30k in the bloody thing.

Gents, I think (If I have understood it right, which is more than likely totally wrong! ) that when Leafletgate was started, it was a reference to "Let's go and do something extreme, but hey, we can't do anything really"!
As I said, maybe I am wrong, but it tickled me in the way that I read it.

Lendy needs to expedite repayment of all their overdue loans if they don't want investors to completely pull out. It's hard to see why they can't see that the prevarication, silence and false promises are rapidly eroding faith in this once excellent platform.
