I'm wondering if anyone has any experience or expertise with boats. There are a number of loans against boats such as: 1312288338 - Endurance Boat4945807152 - Power Boat5818112533 - Powerboat LoanIt would be great if people could share their view on: 1. Whether they feel the valuations are reasonable; where the boat market is heading right now (affected by Brexit?:-)), 2. How difficult it would be to sell the boats in the even of default, how long it may approximately take (min-max time frame), 3. What a reasonable discount on FS valuation would be in the above mentioned sale event, 4. Any other risks investors should be aware of (insurance, loss of value etc). All inputs will be appreciated.

The Endurance is a good investment IMO, one of my few remaining loans on FS

Why do you think Endurance boat is a good one? And other boats are not so good?:-)

4. Any other risks investors should be aware of (insurance, loss of value etc). IIRC, one of the boats securing one of FS's earlier boat loans was destroyed in an accident. The boat's insurance covered the incident, paid off, and FS's investors were repaid in full. We have to hope that the current insurance policies are similarly adequate.

IIRC, the 2 "Powerboat" loans effectively are providing working capital to the manufacturer, secured against 2 of their demo vessels. They've already been renewed once and I guess are likely to be rolled forward again. How the estimated valuations would stack up if they had to be sold is anyone's guess, so a key consideration is the performance / stability of the company.

These are about 70% LTV if I recall correctly
How many buyers and how quickly they would resale is unknown unless there happens to be an expert on here
