Oh dear! The first of those two loans was suddenly closed just before midnight (to help ensure the assets weren't flogged off) so extra cashback bids can't go on that. Good job I got my first few hundred in. As for the second - is it that 8.5% windy thing? Oh! the suspense ...... AC have said that they'll continue to take bids manually to back out U/Ws, so if andrewholgate sticks to his original offer, then those manual bids should qualify for cashback despite being made in May. I suspect the new wind turbine opportunity is the 'third' loan mentioned before, but I won't be placing any bids until AC confirm that -- and that it qualifies for the cashback offer. (Being such a large loan, and at a relatively low interest rate, I suspect it'll need the cashback offer to get much support in any case.)

A few of the loans that were offered during the cash back period have 'bounced back', reverted to an earlier stage. Will they still be eligible for cashback ? I am afraid that due to a few of these cancellations, I fall back below the 10,000 GBP which would mean I get a lower cashback rate

I think we were getting paid after they had all drawn down. Earliest was predicted as the end of May, but end of July is looking a better bet at present if we have to wait for those that have reverted.

It's obviously technically easier for AC to pay everyone in one go but I'd much prefer being paid on a per loan basis. After all, we did all look in our sofas for those extra pennies to help stretch our limits & make AC's offer more of a success. We should be rewarded accordingly & as early as possible to re-invest that cashback (in AC again obviously!)

Not going to argue with you there, j! I wish AH wouldn't too & simply puts a message saying we'll be paid this week I doubt a bit of cheek will work though

Hi all - cashback will apply to any loan listed during the cashback period, regardless of drawdown date - that includes any that revert back to an earlier stage.
Hopefully that clears things up!

On drawdown.....whenever that is! One was the Scotch Property loan which drew down Friday 20/6/14, as of yet no cashback paid. I assume this is because of weekend issues, etc so will wait & see if anything materialises over next 24-48 hours!

Without knowing how many loans are going to fail to materialise, how do AC know what %rate of cashback to pay?
It would be a nice gesture for AC to pay the rate individuals were expecting, regardless of if 1 or 2 drop by the wayside. e.g. 10k invested evenly over 10 loans in April, 2 are dropped completely, investor receives 0.75% of 8k = £60
That way, the cashback could be paid on a 'per loan' basis.
(not said for personal gain, other than getting cb earlier)

Any update on cashback payments AC? Staffy loan drew down earlier today, Scottish prop a few days ago but still no payments!! Of course there's still Redruth to draw, and possibly Weston S.M. but I'm not sure about WSM if it was in April, it was about that time. IN EDIT. WSM was in mid March so unlikely to be included in the April Cash back.
