Transferred 30k to my 30d account on 30-Aug but by 6-SEP the funds were still not showing up on the dashboard. After calling Assetz Capital, it turns out the money was just sitting in a holding account. AC claimed this was due to the transaction not containing an account reference number or name but my bank have confirmed it was sent with the correct reference number and Asset Capital's own transaction record additionally showed the transaction had a customer reference containing my name but instead of proactively contacting clients with the matching name to try and assign the orphan funds they preferred to leave it sitting in their holding account and no explanation has been received for this. Poor show, Assetz Capital.
Needless to say, I am now withdrawing my funds to go elsewhere. Posting my experience here in case this is a common occurrence.

While I wouldn't have thought that many test a deposit mechanism with £30k, it's beyond any reasonable doubt that few would wait a week before making enquiries if it failed to show! If this, as you describe it, a supposed failure on the part the platform, was a common experience, there would be no need to post here as it would have already been debated ad infinitum, believe me!

It wasn't a test, it was an investment. I waited 3 full business days to chase AC, not a week. I thought that maybe it was held up due to compliance/money laundering checks as a new user.

I don't mind the music, just so long as you don't get that annoying recorded message saying "your call is very important to us". I think the award for the most ludicrous recorded message goes to Lloyds bank. I was on holiday in south east Asia and one of my cards wouldn't work. I rang up the bank at the equivalent of 3am Sunday morning and the recorded message said "all of our operators are busy, please phone back at a quieter time"
