A new platform appears on the scene almost every week, OK so that’s an over exaggeration but doesn’t this all create the impression of an ever inflating bubble?  Bandwagon, I think - but, yes. Half the platforms already extant don't have critical mass. This is my largest concern with p2p... but how to pick out the diamonds in the rough...

Email due out later today apparently with some more info on the investment opportunities. Also "We're expecting to be able to loan investor money within the next week and load the very first deals very shortly afterwards." Which sounds to me like they may be a tad behind depending on how they're defining "launch" but yeah as SteveT says, what else is new?  Nothing yet.

Thanks for the heads up, I've also preregistered. It's interesting how these new platforms can conform to the FCA regulations faster than the established ones - I wonder what is so hard for the existing players to change. £50 for £5k is not a huge encouragement. I believe new platforms can obtain authorisation far quicker than existing platforms that are operating under interim authorisation because they are a clean slate and have no historical baggage. It means that the FCA do not have to spend any time reviewing historical practices etc etc, and more importantly, if the FCA raise concerns over certain proposed operational aspects of the business, these can be quickly addressed by an entity that has no existing business versus one that may need to negotiate changes with the FCA so to minimise the impact on existing practices/systems and live business. This is why when an existing business looks to undertake regulated business, it will nearly always set-up a separate new vehicle to undertake the business (as well as not want its existing non-regulated business to be subject to regulatory burden).

Just had an email saying they'll be open for registrations from the 5th, early birds will get instructions on the 4th Was that a general email or direct response to yourself? I dont seem to be getting anything since investor offer acknowedgement.

Just received a "quick funding guide" (not read it yet...) Edit - which in summary says create a username and password, and respond to the verification email. Open from close of business tomorrow.....always a GREAT time to launch stuff  Edit 2 - ah apparently they're hoping it may be live a little sooner than that, but there's some domain stuff that's out of their control
