OK cheers wont bother then,just a loan live on sunday with MT I would of invested in I'd say it's pretty likely that the £600k MT loan will have some availability mid-morning Monday (although perhaps not beyond 4.01pm Monday)

Yes, While there are likely to be more than 150 lenders who want some, I doubt there are 150 who want £4k or more .. we shall see. This is the largest offering for quite a while IIRC .. we could do with a few more (and a bit less property, but then most £xM loans tend to be for/secured on property). More whizzy planes, Ocean Liners, and Nuclear Power stations please!!

Standard banking systems use FPS (faster payment service) which operates 24/7 , so i can only assume that SS do not.

Standard banking systems use FPS (faster payment service) which operates 24/7 , so i can only assume that SS do not. More likely there is no one working to press the button for SS on the weekend - how dare they take the weekend off! its as if they don't want us to withdraw money or something!

I would say a 99% chance that the money is only transferred Monday to Friday .
To get same day transfer you need to apply early before 8 am in my experience

What has annoyed me is that there's been at least one occasion in the past when I'd made a withdrawal on Friday morning (not thinking) before a loan has then gone live - the deposits were confirmed on the Saturday (so someone was working) but the withdrawals weren't processed. I have once had a withdrawal on a Sat so their bank clearly will do it but now I just expect that I won't see anything I request on Fri until Mon.

I have the opposite problem ....
Made a deposit to clear my o/s balance but not processed yet...
I'm sure I've had deposits processed on a Saturday before? Are they maybe just later then the usual 8:30 - 9:00 on a weekday?

Are they maybe just later then the usual 8:30 - 9:00 on a weekday? My experience of Saturday processing is one of inconsistency. Sometimes it has happened, sometimes not. I find the depositing system of SS very clunky and much prefer that of MT.
