I've made a couple of purchases and two sales this morning. No problem with the purchases, but with the two sales, although they have actually sold, (ie. no longer showing up under "available loans") they are still showing up under my "selling loanparts" tab, and the cash for the sales has not been credited to my "available funds" ?? Just wonder if anyone else is experiencing similar problems with sales this morning Thanks. If one of those is PBL 128 then the problem is noted here, where there is a reported invisible sales queue of £1239 for that loan. Thanks, yes, one of the sales was for indeed for PBL128 , and the other was for PBL095. Unfortunately your link didn't work for me , but I'll have a hack around the forum and see if I can sort this out

Hope you found it lobster , but in any event you will now as I have merged your thread with this one . Problem still not fixed at SS Towers though, that PBL128 hidden £1,239.00 sales Q is still there

Thanks - I phoned SS and they have sorted out the problem for me personally, but I strongly suspect the underlying issue still exists, and that this will keep re-occurring for others until SS get to the bottom of it.

Anyone know what would happen if I try to sell part of loan PBL128? Their is still is the hidden queue. Would this 'kickstart' the transactions or just mess things up more?

Well I sold some PBL128 a couple of days ago without any problem. However I tried to sell some more this morning and encountered "the problem". To be fair, once I phoned SS , they sorted it out promptly. The sale this morning did happen - but it wasn't updating correctly in my account.

I sold some PBL128 yesterday morning. Encountered the same issue as reported on this thread, the amount was still showing up on my selling loans when the SM showed it clear. Hours later, after lunch, it was still a 'selling loan' so I cancelled it, then decided I wanted to sell it anyway, so put it back for sale. Again nothing showing on the SM. In the evening I signed into SS and it had really been sold and money showed up in my account
My take: Be patient, it can sort itself out.

I notice the invisible queue on PBL128 is still there - none showing on SM but when I tried listing a part there's a Q of £1239 still .......... It's one of my likely candidates for a trim later - but in the interests of simplicity I'll give it a miss Is anyone aware of any other PBLs similarly afflicted ? Or heard any more from savingstream WRT the issue ?

I sold two lots of PBL128 yesterday. Was bit erratic and weirdly not showing up etc. Basically I followed Puffins advice above and was patient for a few hours and it sorted itself out.

I've been noticing lots of delay when buying and selling, particularly with email conformation delays, and also that I can't cancel some sales for no apparent reason. usually sorts itself out after a few hours

What I expect is happening is that during that time some other SS investor has put some of their parts up for sale. Those new parts offered have gone into the loan's £1239 black hole limbo and pushed the parts offered earlier into the live SM.

Possibly, but I've not been buying or selling PBL128 so it's something more general than just that loan

I don't think it ".... sorts itself out in a few hours" either. I think its much more likely that some other SS investor (who quite possibly doesn't have a clue about this forum) , encounters the same problem and either phones or emails SS. SS in turn react to this other lender by sorting out the problem - but so far SS have only ever sorted in out on a temporary basis

According to SS, the "issue is currently under investigation"

would be interesting to know if the loans are available if you go to live loans and select the loan. when there are available parts, then this could result in an interesting buying opportunity/strategy, but time consuming. When this issue occurs no availability is shown on the 'available loans' tab or as 'remaining' on the specific loan page so I assume both have the same source data.

Those new parts offered have gone into the loan's £1239 black hole limbo and pushed the parts offered earlier into the live SM. This is exactly what is happening. I observed that when I listed a new loan part it shunted my previously invisible loan parts into the limelight which I was then able to cancel leaving my recently listed loan parts in the twilight zone. Go to know going forward as this issue seems to sporadically reoccur.
