It is not just loans on Lendy. Many here have also invested on other platforms that were, "advised that work was progressing well", and some of those will definitely not end well.

We are advised that works are progressing well. The borrower does not currently require further development finance on this, so there is no imminent inspection planned by the Independent Monitoring Surveyor".Who has advised Lendy,"...that works are progressing well", if there has been, "...no imminent inspection by the IMS"? Answers on a postcard please. The borrower? We know that borrowers on p2p loans never bend the truth so nothing untoward about this update...

It doesn't seem that untoward to me if, as per the July update, the borrower is using alternate funding to develop the site. It fact it sounds more like good news for lenders that the borrower is adding value to the site and lowering our LTV.
I think perhaps the general doom and gloom around other loans on Lendy is unreasonably seeping into this thread.
