For a p2p company that generally comes across as being very professional, the withdrawal times are still rather amateurish. They are one of the slowest around. A big improvement across the board would be automated withdrawal processes, just like the banks. I believe Propertymoose has this feature in place, correct me if I am wrong. RS have a weekly or monthly regular withdrawal option I'm currently using... admittedly the cash does end up on AC quite a lot of the time!

We also carry out extensive AML checks on each withdrawal so the first time a particular account is used there can be additional delay. When I get time I'll explore what the other sites are doing as they may have found a cheaper way to bypass the bank.

I requested a withdrawal from my Cash Account yesterday morning, expecting it to reach my bank account this morning. Instead, it landed back in my Cash Account at 4.04am this morning, triggering a "Funds have been credited to your account" email from AC. Has anyone seen this before? chris, is there any banking problem currently?

The timing seems weird as withdrawals are still a manual process due to the security checks we carry out. More automation is on its way.

I received the usual "A request was made to withdraw funds from your Assetz Capital account" email at 11.40am yesterday, but my Cash Account statement shows both a withdrawal at 11.40am yesterday and a deposit for the same sum credited at 4.04am this morning. Could the funds have "bounced back" (technical term!) from Lloyds somehow?

Amusingly 404 is the HTTP code for a file not being found. Customer services will be able to properly investigate.

Has anyone experienced a problem withdrawing money from AC in the last 24 hours?

One I did last Thursday morning was not actioned until Monday. It would not be so bad if it could stay in the instant account until they deal with it, but it has to be withdrawn so is uninvested.

Sounds normal to me (if that was 12:42PM), if you'd requested the withdrawal an hour earlier on the 12th it would have been processed on the 13th AM. Standard practice is cut off at 12noon to receive next working day. Admittedly not the speedy service of some of the smaller platforms, but acceptable to me.

Withdraw request Monday 10:16AM, processed Wednesday 09:53AM. I emailed them for the cut of times and got "We aim to process all withdrawals within 2 working days."

There is a project in progress to speed withdrawals and present arrangements are dependent upon high street banks. We could offer very fast withdrawals today but at a cost of £30 or so and feedback suggests this isn't acceptable so we will be putting something much simpler quicker and much lower cost/free in place in due course, hopefully later this year.

Sounds great. There are many things I like about Assetz e.g. sweeping to the QAA. When you push the withdraw button interest stops (fair enough), so was just a niggle the delay in receiving payment. stuartassetzcapital - I hope your payments project will also find a way to cache lenders bank details.

It will indeed and that's one of the first changes I understand

The upgrade to the way bank details are handled is being worked on at the moment. Release will be before the end of the month.
