Withdrawals very slow this week. I made a request yesterday and did not even receive the acknowledgement, tried live chat but won't go there again - useless.

Cannot say I'm impressed though, the Xmas shutdown is a pain.

What are current cash withdrawal timings like? I just requested a cash withdraw (9am Monday), is Wed am the latest I should expect the funds or I'm I being too optimistic?

Before P2P, savers put a guinea in a piggy bank, now they smash the banks to become guinea pigs.

There is a project in progress to speed withdrawals and present arrangements are dependent upon high street banks. We could offer very fast withdrawals today but at a cost of £30 or so and feedback suggests this isn't acceptable so we will be putting something much simpler quicker and much lower cost/free in place in due course, hopefully later this year. Hi stuartassetzcapital . Was the project to speed up withdrawals implemented? I haven't noticed any improvement. I made two withdrawals yesterday (11:59 & 12:00) neither have been processed. I thought it would be fast because not many lenders are making withdrawals due to the xmas cracker. Now, I suspect the bank batch-up withdrawals and can't be bothered to process a few, they really need a good kicking. In the past I've been told on the "chat line" that too many withdrawals means some get delayed, we just can't win. The deposit system works really well, but the withdrawal process is very frustrating. EDIT: Very impressed. Withdrawals processed after 5pm today, don't ever remember withdrawals being processed at that time of day. Did someone get a kicking ?

It's the name of their current cashback scheme. Newly invested funds have to remain invested until 20th Dec to qualify for the cashback, hence the assertion that not many people will be withdrawing at the moment.

Yesterday, I made a request to withdraw on the 30day account, but have received no email. No such request shows on the account statement. Have I made a mistake?
edit: ok no email but when I go to make another withdrawal it does show the available balance as the previous total less the requested withdrawal. I could have sworn you get an email, though. Maybe I’ve just missed it or deleted it.

It does show up in the list of queued withdrawals that you can see at any time, though.

I was concerned a significant amount I transferred from the very lethargic Nationwide wouldn’t arrive for the 31/10/18 Xmas Cracker deadline, but helpfully was advised as it’s the total amount eligible that matters, I could transfer into the main account now, then transfer ISA funds after the 31/10 and then withdraw the main account value “as it’s the total sum that counts”. (The reason I wish to do this as not to have too much on one platform.)
