Yep, mines in too, about a third of what it would be if all my loans were performing.

Likewise my stuck funds brought in the equivalent of 1.5%AER this month. If I stare hard enough at the silver lining, that's as much as my Marcus savings account .... and I can almost forget I'll never see most of the capital itself back! š£

Question is, will we get the monthly interest "as normal" in a couple of days, (perhaps allowing the sales queues to shift on what would normally be the more popular loans), or will our monthly interest also be held in limbo due to "issues with our banking services"?
Place your bets now!

My bet is that we will receive delayed transfers due to "issues with our FCA banking servicesā.

Today's the day, and it carries more significance due to the FCA stuff.
Taking the restrictions at face value they won't be able to pay them out.
There could even be issues in even crediting interest. Would the FCA allow them to credit an account if the full amount of the money does not exist?
It's going to need a really creative story to get out of this one.
The day might be coming when a group of investors descends on Branksmere House..

Steady as she goes good ship Ly. No weekend sailing on a school day. Water ski in if you have to. Our hopes are invested in you and all who sail in her. The 1st of the month is the day I don't post any glass-half-empty doom and gloom, no whinging about rubbish updates, no worrying about being stuck with crappy looking loans that I can't shift. The 1st of the month is the day to worship SS and give thanks to the platform There are still some loans with +ve days left on them, so good luck to all those who MAY be getting some interest paid today. Sadly for now, I am now in the group that will NOT be receiving any interest, but it is ALL accruing...

I do believe today will be the day that I finally join the Lendy Zero Interest Club. Really not great after Collateral..
Hopefully someone will post in here when they receive any Interest, if anything, so I'll know for sure..
To think it was only a very short while ago when a young lady called me up trying to convince me to invest in their Lendy Wealth Product.
"We'll invest all the money for you, you can sit back and do nothing", she joyfully told me..
"With you taking all the responsibility with my hard earned money, there must be a nice big provision fund in place for this?", I questioned.
"Oh no sir, that will not be needed, nobody has ever lost their money with Lendy..", she nonchalantly replied..
As much as I wanted to go off on one, it was obvious she was just a hired hand working off a prompt sheet, so I let her go unscathed.. But what a wind up..

Lets hope I am mistaken on the second point.

What will be the next step taken by authorities if Lendy is unable to repay interest and repaid loans due to the banking "issue"? It depends what the "issue" really is. If it is due to the FCA insisting on authorising every transaction, then you'd expect the FCA to authorise these transactions... If it's due to a genuine "banking issue", then I'm sure the FCA are already kicking Ly's backside to sort it. Next step would surely be administration. And that's in NOBODY's interest.

April Interest Payments As many of you are already aware, we have experienced a number of issues connected to our banking systems and payment processes.
We have now resolved these issues, are working through the backlog and hope to complete all outstanding requests within the next 48 hours.
Kind regards,
The Lendy Team
