Not so much as a penny of interest today... I see I'm not the only one, but even by Lendy's standards this is shocking.

Lendy can blame the bank problem for withdrawals BUT has anyone had any interest paid to day where due? I am not due any BUT I don't think payment has ever been made this late before.

Nice to think the few bits I have that are not accruing WILL be coming my way, believe when I see it in my bank account.

Ok. Let's go with the "problems re banking and payment processes". But why hasn't interest been credited to our accounts??? This is now officially a sh*t show.

Yep, a new low for them I'm afraid.
We all know the real reason isn't banking issues as they seem keen to point out.
Dread to think what next month will be like but I'd be on a recurrence of the mysterious banking problem cropping up towards the months end.

The email from Lendy was titled:
"Important April Interest Payment Update - April Interest Payments" As many of you are already aware, we have experienced a number of issues connected to our banking systems and payment processes.
We have now resolved these issues, are working through the backlog and hope to complete all outstanding requests within the next 48 hours.
Although I could be wrong, I personally took this to mean - don't expect anything today.

My money is on " Why credit customer accounts when we have no (guaranteed / robust) way to facilitate withdrawals. Not everyone reads emails (or forums) so it would just trigger a bunch of support calls. By not crediting accounts [until we have caught up and are confident we can process withdrawals promptly], anyone expecting to see an interest-related sum hit their balance might look at their inbox and click on the latest email we sent, rather than (mis)read the subject line and assume interest had be credited." Something like that, anyway.

Assuming the "banking issues" cover story is indeed "correct" (in at least some interpretation), we have two possibilities that seem logical:
1. They want to clear the backlog of non-processed transactions before crediting everyone's interest which will lead to hundreds or maybe thousands more requests being added to the withdrawal queue. 2. The transfer(s) of interest into the client account are also caught up in the banking issues backlog (e.g. interest held "on account" may need to go through the banking interface to actually reach us, or "banking issues" was really code for "submitting list of proposed non-contentious transactions to the FCA and waiting up to 48 hours for the FCA to approve them").

Wouldn't it have been easy to sent the email that explained it all. Rather than the one they did - normal half a story Lendy. Perhaps Liam will get a whip role in Gov!

I understand the potential complexities of such an idea, and a good point you have raised in the form of L could be advantaged by this arrangement. However, methinks something will have to be done to realise the investors capital return as confidence in the agent seems to have waned beyond recovery.

Of my 15 loans only 2 have a portal page. One of them doesn't actually contain any information but simply states that this is where we'll put information when we have information to tell me (and they haven't had anything to say on this loan since August last year).
What a shambles.
