5% isn't bad for an instant-access product. Oh, hold on. gkcapital.com/how-it-worksYet the FAQ does seem to suggest it's instant access from all the products. Hmm...

Not much immediately visible on where your money actually goes. hmm, make a glossy ad and site, open Bondmason account and pocket the difference, who wants to be my partner in a new venture. Where's the risk warning? The statement "Investing your money with us, you will receive interest rates of up to 5%." doesn't leave much room for potential loss. I take it, they must be FSCS backed then... No, says not, so if goes bust, reliant on parent company Funds are guarded Global Kapital Group has a large capital base and will always stand next to its investors. They have two lending business in the group so I suspect thats their origination source.

The graphic ad that says "The Best Investment Product Of The 2016" put me right off. EDIY...and the typo on "experince". For a finance company, if they can't proof read their ads, doesn't give one much faith in how they handle money.

Hmmm. I suspect the awards are fake too, and I take the staff numbers with a pinch of salt. They don't actually say they have 800 staff. They say they have a "total workforce of 800 people". This probably counts everybody who they have signed up to be an agent, hand out flyers in pubs, or whatever. GKFX Financial Services seems to be the main UK operation. According to the 2015 accounts, the products currently offered include spread-betting, foreign exchange trading and contracts for difference. It was quite profitable in 2015 but I wonder about what risks (market positions) may have been taken to generate those profits. You can get the accounts here beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/06837942/filing-history. A lot of other group companies seem to be newly formed and have yet to file any meaningful accounts. Bargepole for me. PS: Kaspersky thinks there is at least one phishing link on the site, which it blocked.

The similarity of name with the finance arm of Grace Kennedy (http://www.gk-capital.com) is unfortunate.
Edit: There are also at least three US businesses using the name GK Capital, but none of them seem to have any significant web footprint.
