having just read the other thread, I nearly spat coffee across my keyboard when I read the title... lol
is it possible to set up a group message to discuss anything you may now not want to post on the forum? I for one very much appreciate the work you put it. many thanks it will be missed. Yes the title was too funny... I am a little behind in my forum reading but what do you mean by Cooling dude- "many thanks, it will be missed."? It sounds like you are saying cooling dude is retiring /sabbatical from due diligence? I hope not...

At the moment, it is a 12 month loan and we don't see any changes forthcoming. Not at this stage. So, just for clarity, SS will be holding 12 months pre-paid interest for this loan? Yes.

Stuff here (not DD stuff - but all the other stuff) appear... later cooling_dude , I think you should have referred to this loan as PBL*** just to be safe. I just came to say the very same thing!

There's now a "development presentation" for the loan. Perhaps that's new - I didn't notice it yesterday.

Does anyone know if SS have a "normal" sort of time for releasing new loans on a Saturday, or can it literally be at any time during the day ?
You'd have thought that they might release it at a a relatively early stage of the day if only so that they can get home themselves !

In the past, some loans have failed to go live on the indicated date

In the past, some loans have failed to go live on the indicated date When they have been released late or not a all, that was on a working day, so probably waiting on solicitors. If it is going live on a Saturday, I see no point in delaying the launch, so I expect it to go live early afternoon latest.

Assuming this loan does go live today do people think it will be fully subscribed or will there be a chunk on the SM remember SS have brought close to £7mln already this week before todays £7mln plus ??

Lots left I suspect, but SS often only release any remainder in chunks of about £500k to avoid putting people off buying.

If SS is holding the remaining chunks, does it amount (at least for the short term) as having skin in the game? I ask this in view of discussion on another thread (cannot remember where). There were opposing opinions if platforms should have skin in the game or not.
