I suspect that SS have now deliberately held this back until Monday.
Call me an old cynic, but I think they were peeved at our response to their asinine post.

Why would they launch it today? They will save about £2300 by launching in tomorrow... they'll have save £4600 by not launching on Saturday and have more chance of funds been on account at time of launch as people have already sold old parts.
A clever move? Maybe, maybe not. Many of us will now take advance loan notifications with a pinch of salt, selling old parts after the new loan goes live to clear the negative balance, generating cash flow issues for SS.

Well right now "tmrw morning" has about 40 mins to run. Just as well the word "probably" is in there Seriously though - this is starting to get irritating Unless in Spain where, by tradition, the morning runs until after lunch which is typically c.2pm. And like in Spain everything happens mañana. BTW, I'm not irritated. It will happen when it happens. No point worrying about it.

It's ambiguously phrased - he might mean that he hopes people don't get wound up by it being cancelled soon after going live (as, IIRC - I wasn't in the relevant loan, a recent loan).

A clever move? Maybe, maybe not. Many of us will now take advance loan notifications with a pinch of salt, selling old parts after the new loan goes live to clear the negative balance, generating cash flow issues for SS. Another thing to consider is that some investors will be sending deposits in to cover their allocations. And some of those may take advantage of INPL and not make their deposits until 24 or 48 hours after receiving their allocation. Launching on Saturday would have meant those investors' cleared funds would be in SS's account on Monday in time for the completion/drawdown. The delay slowness in setting the loan live will mean those funds might not arrive until after Monday, so if SS/Lendy really are working toward a Monday completion/drawdown then they've made their job harder. But perhaps the Monday deadline has been postponed. Or perhaps SS/Lendy have sufficient working capital that they can fund a £7.92M loan first and wait for investors' funds afterwards.

I made a deposit on Friday and it has still not been credited to my account. I am disgusted that my five figure investment (£100.00) has not been credited.... makes me want to cry. However on a more serious note around 5pm on Friday I opened up a new account under my business name. For the account to become active I had to make a deposit. So again I made another five figure investment (£100.00)/ or maybe it was six figures--- anyhow the point is on Saturday it was credited to my new business account. Not bad going.... bababill: Are you saying that you made two separate deposits on Friday and that one was credited on Saturday and the other was not?

If it were me on the other side of all this indignation I'd be adding a 2-3 window to every go live from now on, regardless of how certain I was, just to avoid the pitchforks coming out again. That's not what's necessary to keep the pitchforks at bay. All it would take is not to deny that there's been a delay when everyone can see that there's been a delay. A reasonable answer to someone's question for the reason for the delay wouldn't go amiss either. You might also like to note that much of the uproar is not about there being a delay - that's happened before, and we know that SS go live dates can't be relied on - but about the denial that there was a delay. They shot themselves in the foot with that. I couldn't have put it better myself.

Probably the comment of the week I know it's wrong but my spelling isn't the best. I'm sure you all are clever enough to get the jist of it.
