Why would they launch it today? They will save about £2300 by launching in tomorrow... they'll have save £4600 by not launching on Saturday and have more chance of funds been on account at time of launch as people have already sold old parts. A clever move? Maybe, maybe not. Many of us will now take advance loan notifications with a pinch of salt, selling old parts after the new loan goes live to clear the negative balance, generating cash flow issues for SS. I don't think this is the case (i could be wrong), unless the loan is repaid 2 days early, they will pay that interest anyway.

Our comments seem to have caused somewhat of an uproar. We were trying to interact with you on a human level as some have pointed out, however the majority seem to have taken them in a way which we did not intend. So we apologise for this and will amend the way we interact with you in future. You are correct, we are a £200m financial institution and need to be more professional. Apparently not today though. Perhaps tomorrow as in Tomorrow never comes.

Have you people ever been to a norrmal pub and listensed to the sarcasm, IT'S GREAT, or do you just go to wine bars. I am also a high six figure investor and have no problem with the way things are going. I used to find this forum interesting and there are some people do good stuff on here. Ask someone if they will put your dolly back into your pram or go elsewhere. There's plenty about. It's time to stop moaning

I hope I'm not in the minority here thinking this thread and some people's reactions have gone a bit over the top.
Savingstream will let us know when a loan is expected to become available but it's not a dead cert. Sometimes they get rushed through, other times they take a little longer.
You either have trust that savingstream are acting in our best interests or you don't. If it's the latter then vote with your feet and find a more vanilla no surprises investment option that suits you. You will most likely find, either way, rushed decision-making or the benefit of no surprises investments will hit your returns.

Agreed. SS isn't perfect, but some of the whinging has reached silly levels. And after weeks of 'boo-hoo, theres nothing on the SM', now we have 'boo-hoo, theres too much on the SM'.

So, what happens if no one buys the excess loan on the SM? Do SS make up the short fall or do they cancel the loan?

Am I right in thinking because I pre-funded the loan I have to make sure the funds are in my account with-in 24hrs, but it I waited and bought it on the SM, I would have 48hrs to put the funds in my account?
