Is there some way of getting an email from assetz when a new loan is listed?

That sounds like a reasonable question/suggestion, in fact I love it, I hope andrewholgate does too, it can only help with the flow of info.

We do get some emails announcing new loans coming on the platform, although this is not systematic.

Yes we also get the option to be emailed when a particular proposal goes lives; we click on it to request notification, but how about when any & all loan goes live? So if you're away or don't have the time to check; it just tells you.

ISTM that the last couple of loans have skipped that stage.

Seems silly not to advertise new loans, and as a new person to this I would have expected it by default. (Guess I have a lot to learn)!
I am sure in your account preferences you can tick and filter what you want emailed to you, but would have thought new loans would automatically be sent through as thats what we are most interested in?

Slightly off topic but somewhat related to the notification thread here. If AC are going to hit that £100m target, they really need to use every method possible to encourage investors to put funds into their loans. Hence the email notification part coming into play. I wonder if it's simply an oversight recently with holidays, etc or whether AC are now becoming much more dependent on underwriting, esp for big loans that smaller investors probably cannot collectively fill by themselves so, emails may help a little here but are not wholly essential.
I get the feeling that the p2p market is slowly shifting towards bigger operators with deeper pockets. Small investors like us will always have a part to play but there might come a point where all we can contribute is by buying parts off aftermarkets on various platforms which in turn might mean lower rates for us as the middlemen take their cut of the deal for underwriting it!

Certainly this market will evolve over time and what we have now will undoubtedly look rather quaint in a couple of years time. My guess is that evolution will be hastened by a general improvement in interest rates, which is beginning to look as though it could be just around the next corner. Once that genie is out of the proverbial bottle who knows what will happen. The boom in property prices again looks like becoming the fuel for the fire in the short term. Couple this to a possible general increase in wages and borrowing and a forth coming general election, things in the financial arena could get very interesting indeed in the short term.
Further out but possibly starting this year we are likely to see amalgamations and takeovers in the P2P market followed by a period of consolidation. No doubt during this period there will almost certainly be some P2P's going to the wall. The big question for us and probably the FCA is, will we the borrows get hurt when it happens?

Is there some way of getting an email from assetz when a new loan is listed? In the pipeline for the next phase of site improvements. I've got to spend some time on the drawdown backlog first, which is proving to be a more important issue. But point noted. A
