I screwed up a couple of months ago moving money from classic to plus using the holding anyway I moved the residual back into the classic stream as new money and since then it has not been lent out.
Are the classic streams so awash with repayments money that new money never makes it to the front. I haven;t lent anything in classic since middle of september. Only just noticed that it was languishing so I've moved it into Plus and turned on repayments to classic to see if I can get it lent out. I have about 1400 and Plus seems like it might lend some within a few days or so - I haven;t checked the busiest days.
anyone else had this with new money in classic.

I've run down my Zopa investments from about £10k to less than £1k over the last couple of years due to the frustrating slowness and inability to control lending speed (compered to RS for example).
I thought that I would check to see if things have improved and put £500 in both Classic and in Access about a week ago. So far only £10 has been lent. If this normal?

I left Z in preference to RS for this very reason on 2014..... nothing changes it seems.....

Quite frankly I'd prefer my spare cash to be in the queues with RS and Z rather than lend it to my bank (and I'm talking ISAs) at 0.25%. At least there's the prospect of half-decent rates eventually.

I had a Faster Payment credited to my plus account yesterday at 5.01pm. Already been matched and lent out.
Had another FP credited at 9.11am today, I'll let you know when it gets lent.

Well I put the money into plus and it lent £340 yesterday(7th) within the day, i've moved the rest back to classic. I was trying to keep a 10/90 plus/classic split but it lent way faster than I expected. I returned the rest back into classic but still not moved yet I'll watch it for a few days and see what happens.
At the moment i've got repayments running back into the same products, when i've got the lending splits back on track i'll re-route some of plus repayments back to classic for a little while.

My experience is that the queue for Access is pretty painful too. What baffles me is when I've wanted to 'rapid return' classic loans it's taken up to a week when the interest rates on my classic loans date back to better times regarding interest rates. I would have though the process much quicker with there being such long queues for lower rate loans...

Well classic has actually started lending £300 or so over the last 7 days or so, most of it today, the other 600 or so is in matching to borrowers, so all's well that ends well all I have to do now is divert re-lend back to classic until the 300 i overlent into plus is back in its rightful place. May need a bit of analysis to see what the current return rates are but i think i'll let the dust settle a bit. Fingers are crossed that the additional lending does not spark off some additional defaults as well.
