....................but I guess there's not that much repaid bits of interest being re-deposited yet. You'd be surprised - I have a reasonably regular stream of them coming in. Almost all of the ten loan parts I sold last week ended up quickly with odd amounts in them, despite me having always listed round amounts for sale. I was lucky though that somebody always opted to take the whole of the last odd amount and not leave a few pence hanging around. Perhaps SS just add the odd few pence in to tidy things up if it happens - after all, our invested amounts are only notionally allocated to particular loans. It's good it's working ok at the moment, but if SS continues to grow perhaps some system that people can only buy the last £100+ bit of a loan in its entirety rather than leave £s or pennies below £100 and thus technically unsaleable? Well, 'notional allocations' didn't help me in my attempted purchase of MONEY's boat bit.

In need of at least another now, so I hope anyone thinking of selling will post here first. They could do with some kind of (dare I suggest it) auto buy system or notification, at the moment it seems to be right time right place only. Personally I prefer it as it is - no mess or complication. Notification of units for sale might be useful, although they currently do go quickly. You could always park your £100 in one of the others that is currently live and then diversify it out at a later date once they've gone live. That's assuming they continue to sell, the current ones seem to be taking quite a long time to fill, or is that usual/ typical?

It's because they're quite large - the boat renewal for almost £80K from a couple of days ago is almost half filled already. Bridging loan 2 took a while, but it got there, and I've managed to sell several chunks of it in the SM since it closed and most of them quite quickly, despite it being a very recent loan.

I even picked up the last £2.58 in the original Dufour 380, that after 103 days gave me a healthy 9p of compounded interest (I worked it out to be 8.235p, but was generously rounded up), every little helps!

Giving figures like that was bound to make me check the maths...............and I make it 8.73665p (2.58*0.12/365*103).........sorry, diplacement activity - I've got more important things to do that are more tedious than that! Anyway, look after the pennies..........etc

Hi all, There is £321 of funding available on Property 002. Unfortunately due to the size of the loan this shows as 0.0% available in the Live Loans list. savingstream I think this will be an issue on all of your larger loans - could you change the list so that it shows at least 0.1% available while an amount to be funded is available however small. Regards

Thanks for the heads up, we have changed the availability figure to 2dp to hopefully show smaller amounts still available.

At last a boaty bit . Their new instand deposit worked fine too - now I'd better go and pay them back quick. If that was just one person's bit of the loan, they had nearly 40% of it - no wonder they disappear like greased lightning.

Prego . There's actually been an uncharacteristic slew of small bits from other boaty loans up on the SM this afternoon, but of course they came and went quickly.

Well I'm glad I saw the Sunseeker then, as I've been logged in most of the day, and the only other bits I saw come up were property. Their SM is hard work in terms of having to be pretty much glued to the screen, I shall be glad when I've been investing with them for longer and am worrying less about diversification. Only £59 left on the Sunseeker as I type! Mind you it's quite encouraging should one want to sell at some point, plenty and fast take up. Lets hope some of the pipelines come through soon too.

I'd be a bit miffed to have a chunk in limbo for the sake of pennies, so, I just donated 16p's worth of good will to the seller. I hope you're all suitably impressed with my generosity.
