Check your math - I make the total on the SM about £8m, and that includes defaults etc. Do you mean maths.......or are you speaking American ......if so you should go and sit on the naughty step, 'cos as a mod., you should know foreign languages are not allowed here!

Does that mean we can use ALL words that are in OED? 'cos there are a lot of words in there that are banned here!!!!!

Acknowledged. May we agree on UK English? Otherwise I wasted 3 years at varsity.

Dunno. Is three years at college enough to learn to spell mathematics?

It's a pity Prof. Stanley Unwin isn't still with us, he could sort out our language problems.

Dunno. Is three years at college enough to learn to spell mathematics? Could be worse. We could be talking about vets.

Taking the amount on sale and assuming Lendy are earning 1% of this through non-paid interest overstates Lendy's gain / investor's loss: (a) people often cancel sales (especially just before the month end) meaning they get their interest back, and (b) a decent chunk of this is owned by underwriters who keep the interest

Hmm, people got so excited/distracted by whether the forum requirement was for "UK English" or just "English" that they seem to have just ignored the fact that the quoted math/maths was wrong by some huge margin. There is NOT £54m for sale, at least not on Ly.
And, in case it isn't obvious, there are plenty of words in the OED that you can't use (without getting censored or banned) - they qualify as English, but not polite.

Quite a lot of buying on the sm friday. Seems a punter likes 10k blocks of many. Perhaps J** has reassured a few.

Quite a lot of buying on the sm friday. Seems a punter likes 10k blocks of many. Perhaps J** has reassured a few. It has certainly levelled off - it peaked at £8m this month and is slowly falling to £7m. Still, needs a good repayment or an influx of new money, the latter seems improbable, as LY seems to have found their current saturation point. J** should do it, but if not it will take more than a single repayment of the other loans. Of course, seeing some DEF successfully resolved will help. I'm quietly optimistic. It seems to me that some loans must be very close to repaying and of course we have a close to 8 million loan close to repaying. The only thing I wonder about is how much pent up appetite for selling there might be. As in selling becomes possible, people will sell. And some people are still buying anything on the SM, including the castle on which the refinancing has just fallen through.
