£4.5k of that overdue bungalow has been sitting there for ages untouched. Is there no-one tempted? Most of PBL004 has gone, but there's quite a collection of other loans -- 8-10 of them -- with parts that have been sitting available for over an hour now.

What I want to know is what has happened to all the bots. Everyone was screaming blue murder about the pesky bots, even though SS claimed they had no evidence of any being used on the site. I think today has just proved that those people moaning about bots were doing so with absolutely no evidence. We've had a few new loans going live, everyone has had want they wanted and now that supply has exceeded demand lots of loans are now available on the SM. Fill ya boots as they say.......

There are many loans available on FC and so clearly no BOTs operate on FC.

Bots can run out of money, stop buying once they reach pre-set targets, be switched off for a bit, ....
I'm not saying that bots are or are not operating, just that you can't deduce the absence of them by the fact some parts are now lingering on the SM. It would be a pretty daft bot programmer that created one that blindly bought forever.

No new loans for a while = demand exceeds supply = SM loans being snapped up in seconds Several new loans appear in succession = supply exceeds demand = SM loans snapped up minutes / hours The defence rests its case mi'lord.

The reason I doubt there are bots operating on SS is I'm not convinced it's worth the effort to build them. There is no opportunity to flip parts for profit here (which is the key driver of bot operation on FC) and frankly you'll achieve a better portfolio risk-profile by buying new loans (via pre-funding) and selling old ones on the SM, not the reverse. However I'm very glad there's plenty of SM demand ready to nab my older loan parts when I list them

Down to being an empty SM again, at least for a little while.

keeps taking 50p of PBL072 every 3 or 4 seconds
is this bot testing or an attempt to bring SS down by exceeding the maximum number of parts?

Has anyone tried to put in a fecking amount when trying to buy a loan using an android phone. You try and put in £50 and it keeps going to 50p....I tried yesterday, gave up and used my pc instead.

I've highlighted this on the feedback thread, but nothing's been sorted yet. Selling and buying on the SM is almost impossible on Chrome on an Android tablet/phone.

It's been very busy this morning, picking up lots of shrapnel by just reviewing the screen as I drink my tea. Looks like lots of other people doing the same.
Loads of that second charge on a building in Liverpool, wonder why???

Selling and buying on the SM is almost impossible on Chrome on an Android tablet/phone. I've not tried to buy with my Android phone / Chrome, but I had no problems using it to sell some pieces the other night. I just ignored the slider and backspaced (twice, admittedly) over the input figure and then typed it in. That's basically all they need to fix, having to overwrite the figure twice.

Doesn't work for me. I just tried to sell a part of a loan I've got £180 of. I can get (after fiddling about) £180, £0 or £1,818. There's no way to clear the box of £0.00.

Anyone who owns their own domain can make their email address anything@theirdomain I see s**********m quite often but I know which parts I've bought so there must be a few of them/us. I am not sure if the let*****ters used always refer to the same lender.

I don't know if it still is, but the letters displayed used to be the first and last letters of the part of your email address that comes before the @ sign. (With a * in place of all the other characters in that position.)
