So has anyone actually tried to transfer funds from an IFISA to a high street provider?
Having spent my lunch time explaining IFISA and peer to peer lending to my local mainstream banch and then heard them attempt to explain it to their head office ISA team, (I could visualize the blank, puzzled looks at the other end) it seems (not particularly surprising) that mainstream lenders are somewhat behind the curve on recent ISA changes. Computer couldnt find the provider I was switching from so its gone up to HO to see if they can do it manually. Tempted to email their cusotmer service a selection of links to relevant sections of HMRC/FCA info for them to pass on to their ISA team.
