As always, plenty of useful opinions & good advice here - many thanks to all who have replied.
As I already have enough easy access cash to last a year or so (Santander 123) & I'm not expecting P2P ISAs from my favourite platforms to be available until the next tax year, my inclination is move all the cash ISA funds to a S&S ISA for now.
Of course, then I'll have to decided how to invest the S&S ISA funds which is a whole new issue!
