The time to investment now stands at 19 days. This does not seem to be getting any better. What are Octopus Choice doing to help with our investment goals?
It would be good to see the position of our funds in the queue. I know it says when the buy order was placed but it would be helpful to know when that order is going to be filled. Would also help with the investment of additional funds.
The cash drag is putting a damper on an otherwise good platform.

Agree I done a test investment when the queue was 12 days, still not invested and now the queue is 20 days which is far to long a wait to invest,I will just hold off until investment queues are a lot lower then maybe try again

However, I am now having some serious doubts as the Q time has gone from 7 to 24 days in the last 3 weeks. I wanted to invest more but the Q time has put me off.

Have been putting in money over the last month and found its been invested normally within an hour and a couple of times even in minutes and also in over 50 loans,so would seem they are having a smoother process now.

Where is the queue length shown?
Their FAQ states: "We show on our statistics page the current queue time ... This shows how long ago the last person who was served first joined the queue"
...but there doesn't seem to be anything on their statistics page in relation to this anymore!

Looking under the "our statistics tab" will show how many loans. If it says 20(but some times when you scroll down it shows more, like at the moment) i have found my money can be invested within an hour or two has even been as quick as minutes before(the longest wait was about a day).Don't want to jinx it but that's over the last 4 months drip feeding in.Bigger sums may take longer and i have never seen a queue time anywhere.it always seems to be about the 20 loan minimum.

There isnt a queue. Money will be invested as fast as OC can carry it out as there is a manual element and it only occurs during office hours (might be automated now). The references referred to are left over from a period after launch when demand outstriiped supply for a time. Hasnt been an issue AFAIK for a while now

Hasnt been an issue AFAIK for a while now Must admit i thought there was a manual element from some of the answers OC have given before. But looking back over my account for the last few months i have had a couple of Saturdays & a Sunday where i have had funds reinvested from paid up loans at the end of the previous week so looks like some parts may be automated.

As suggested by macq and ilmoro - thanks for your replies, both - the reason you can't see the queue length on our statistics page is because there currently is no queue, and hasn't been for some time. It therefore shows the amount of loans open for investment instead. Admittedly, this could be made clearer in the FAQ, so I appreciate you highlighting that!

Off topic a bit but do you still plan on doing an IFISA?.Also believe there were plans for other types of loans or product, is that still the case? something with maybe a higher rate.

Hi macq, we will indeed be launching our IFISA soon! We’ve been working hard on it this year and it is now just around the corner. It’ll be going live to our current customers first, like yourself, and we’ll let you know as soon as it is. Also, if you know anyone else that might want to get in early for our IFISA, I’d recommend you advise they open an Octopus Choice account as soon as possible, so as not to miss out. On the different types of loans - you’re right, we are exploring the possibility of expanding our offering to include commercial loans, too. However, the aim is more about providing our users with a greater level of diversification, all secured on bricks and mortar. Hope that helps!

It would also be very useful for potential investors if you could show withdrawal time stats on your statistics page - i.e. how long it took the last lender to be able to withdraw invested funds from the platform.
