The new website is awful! I hope they didn't pay anyone to design that new logo. They describe it as "A bold new logo" 😂 Lol they really are having a laugh. Yes it's bold. It's a bold font and nothing else. Not really what I'd call a logo, otherwise half their site looks like a logo. The whole site just looks so bland and amateurish. I can't see how such a basic uninspiring website will do anything for the business. It pains me just to log in now. Ratesetters website is quite basic but works. Zopa's doesn't. It just looks like a blank canvas that has ugly font text all over it. And now Zopa is a P2P website that no longer accepts money and looks s*** it really is a worry.

Although the issue of layout is often a matter of opinion - some will like some aspects, others will hate them - there is one thing that I really can't understand. In the Loan Book Overview page the 'in Detail' circles show a variety of shades of blue going on purple with just a bit of green. I know this will vary from user to user but why not have much more clearly differentiated colours for the various loan types? The coloured dots at the side of each loan explanation underneath are useless as they are far too small. Same issue with the main page - the Loan Book Summary circle segments for Access and Classic are virtually identical in colour. I wonder if an expert in web page accessibility was consulted before these were finalised.

It's really funny that on every p2p forum I go on a large minority of grumpy posters say they are withdrawing money - and yet the industry is growing faster than ever.
So, where are you all going 'cos every site has these messages? I must admit it all sounds like "disgruntled old colonel toss@r from Tonbridge Wells" to me.
Having maxed out all the decent paying accounts I either accept p2p rates or get c1% for my cash. It ain't a difficult decision!
As for the look of the site, who gives a damn. I just want a return on my cash - luckily fully invested so unaffected by the lending strike.

I'm going to withdraw my cash and find a site with a more Irish hint of green to their platform

Ive only seen the mobile version so far and the important thing, navigation, appears to be the same. In a few days/weeks/months it will appear normal to me I mostly react badly to any change, must be a symptom of being an old fogey, but in the end just accent the "new" as inevitable I wonder why I made a fuss over it

Shrugs, the new style makes no difference to me either way ... hasn't made any functional changes to the site as far as I can see.

Apart from all the grey bits everywhere that I got rid of with stylish nothing much is that different as far as I can tell - its gone more mobile I guess.
Whilst we are on changes does anyone know how to determine early closed dates for a given borrower - I can't find anything that tells me when an early close occurred in either of the csv files or the online loanbook report.
I guess I will have to contact zopa and get them to send me a special dataset, they must have the info - don't they?.
