The I.T. department at AC are being fingered for the on-going debacle of the suspended listing of this loan - a situation extant since around 17 Nov.
It is rather starting to look like amateur hour at AC and this is becoming something of an operational embarrassment - as increasingly aggrieved comments from lenders on their site attest.

They're not exactly helping themselves by failing to engage on this forum. The recent Q&A on loan 352 makes sad reading (amateur hour indeed), and interest is still unpaid. Have they all taken December off and left an intern in charge?

Yes. AC's performance on the #352 Q & A has been appalling. Has Andrew stopped kicking rear ends? As AC only saw fit to allow me £36.47 I hadn't even bothered to look. #331? The IT department takes more than four weeks and still hasn't corrected this malfunction? This isn't the first time this kind of thing has taken weeks rather than hours. Who has chris given the job to? Sergei? Try The Shuang; he hasn't got worms! (or do it himself).

What I don't understand is, how was 331 different to other loans, what was it about 331 that caused IT issues?

Almost as good as the "IT Department" that taught you how to link images rather than upload them, eh oldgrumpy .

Looked for that. Forgot how to do it. I'll try again . Edit: Is that right now? There's no mention of imgur there.

What I don't understand is, how was 331 different to other loans, what was it about 331 that caused IT issues? Total guess on my part, but it could be a combination of a loan which has cash held in escrow and is drawn down along with retained interest.

The 352 Q&A is embarrassing to read: a complete failure to get a grip on the issue. Surely it's also unacceptable for AC to malign the borrower by citing "a mix up between AC and the borrower", when it's AC that's failing to follow its own process.

I posted a question on AC's website under loan 331 suggesting that since they were unable to solve the IT issues this loan has created they might want to consider buying in external consultants with the necessary experience and expertise to do so - to provide their lenders with the service they should expect and receive (bearing in mind this debacle has been on-going for over a month now). I received a reply informing me this was an unacceptable question and it has been removed - seems they are (quite rightly) embarrassed about the shambles that passes for their IT department. However, I note that the same problem persists on this loan today - they clearly don't give a hoot about the abysmal service their lenders are expected to tolerate.
Maybe send in the meerkats as suggested earlier - they sure can't do any worse!!

So over a month since this issue began this is the best the AC IT team can do:
20th Dec 2016 at 16:50
We apologise for the on-going issues on this loan and can confirm that our IT team continue to work to ensure a suitable, permanent fix is put in place. Although disappointing, we do not think that the fix will be in place before the New Year.
Given we are aware of the issues we will not be taking any further questions on this issue but will update lenders as soon as we are able.
Now AC may call it 'disappointing' but I would call it pathetic - an utter shambles.

There is a glitch in the ledger that we are trying to sort. Sometimes gremlins are hard to find. I am aware of it and chris is aware of it. Please bear with us rather than keep bombarding the team with the same questions and comments that have been fired in to them.

My question on the same subject (might have been a different loan) got deleted well over a week ago, without even a curt email to tell me why. Well, we all know why - it was unacceptable to AC! Not the first time I have had questions deleted, but the first one without the email. Once one of my questions was modified and appeared under the name of an AC employee. Well, just as well, I guess because I would not have put my name to the grammatical stew that eventually appeared.

Can I draw a line under this?
No-one has lost money by this glitch. We are working to correct the matter. Posting statements of discontent about the matter rather than questions regarding the loan quality is not what the Q&A is for. The credit quality of the loan is still in good order. It is a technical problem.
Please, I know you are feeling unhappy and your points have been made. Let us get on with fixing it rather than having to deal with continual comments of discontent.
To repeat, no-one has lost money because of this.
