When fundingsecure are doing the rounds, I have a quick observation for them... Maybe they want to try and google the chartered surveyor who completed the VR for this loan because AFAICS they don't exist. Please don't tell SS about this concept of phantom VRs; they may get ideas Edit : Just fond some minor listings at a different address. Jeez, they are low profile  . |

I'm glad it's not just me having problems finding this surveyor. I've checked the professional registers and all the usual sources and suspect I've been looking for a Company name rather than the individual since the valuation is 'pp' signed. fundingsecure can you give me a name (or at least a hint!) DD on this loan is proving 'problematic' and whilst I would like to invest I'm holding back since I don't like loose ends  (pm more than acceptable if you don't want to put the name on the open forum). |

The VR introduction states the name of the valuer. Same valuer as loans 2417118890, 3078439367, 1783708937 and 9631725522. He has 40 years experience in the Liverpool area.

Thank you for your message. We have checked with RICS who confirmed that the valuer is a registered member. For some reason he doesn't have an entry on the RICS website.

I'm still struggling to understand how to verify this? rics.org doesn't allow a search by number and doing it by postcode doesn't yield a match.
Would someone be kind enough to tell me how to do this?

Be amazed at the vast amount of information displayed.

Given his date of qualification he probably is a luddite but I suspect he is not running a full time practice and is likely to only work for people he already has a relationship.

Good to see the info on here as no email yet re this. @leopardcat: The info came as an update to the loan itself which, of course, disappeared from view shortly thereafter, at which point it then became impossible to find unless you know what the loan number was and create your own URL to bring the page up with. Had you invested in this loan? If not, I wouldn't expect you to get an email. If you did invest, did you get an email eventually?
