With benefit of hindsight and the reply from others I made my post under a misapprehension. Rather than delete it to cover my shame, I left it here to make sense of the subsequent replies.

Can we have a bit of a discussion and openness on MT policy on loan extensions please?
This loan was maturing in a few days and now is to be extended by another 3 months. Not a problem in principle but
Existing lenders who may well have worked up a reasonable holding in MTAG306 will be unceremoniously repaid and have to re-bid on the extension Furthermore the bid limit is set at £50 a minute percentage of the £180k available. 0.028% !!
Why are existing lenders not being offered a rollover option which I think has traditionally been the method for renewing loans in most cases and the balance re-offered?
What are the Things trying to tell loyal lenders by doing this? If MT have a new policy then please be open about it so we all know you attitude to existing lenders.
Just to state that I'm not in this particular loan as I missed the boat 12 months ago but I'd be mighty fed up if I was!

Err........ it's got a renew tick box, so if you are an existing holder you can renew as usual. IIRC the tick box hasn't been around that long, but I've already ticked it prior to today

It is a rollover, you cannot see the renewal flag unless you own some.

MTAD503/MTAD606 is a repayment followed by a new loan.

May even have a stab at the extra 50 too.

OKAY Apologies to all. As I'm not an exisiting holder naturally I can't see the rollover option.
My comment (nay Rant!) was based on there being no mention of the need to tick renew before a certain time in the email sent to me today. So I assumed....
(assume = make an ASS out of U and ME)
Will adjust my medications immediately.
Back under my stone once more.

The three month extension on this Bradford development site is up on Saturday (18th March), and in December it was stated on the loan details that "The sale is anticipated to complete within the next few months and as such we have granted a 3 month extension to the borrower to allow them sufficient time." MoneyThing Does the lack of a renewal box on MTAG601 imply it will be repaid later this week ? Or ?

Morning, The redemption figure has been requested (via the solicitors), for repayment this Friday (17th). This was requested & sent on the 9th, however I will just check again today to make sure that everything is still on track. Regards, Ed

Interest and repayment has appeared on my account. If only there was something in which to invest the returned funds...

Interest and repayment has appeared on my account. If only there was something in which to invest the returned funds... At least on MT they process the withdrawals so quickly that you can at least use them somewhere else if there's nothing available locally.
