Have to agree, I'm finding the variability in FS deposits a little frustrating at the moment. fundingsecure , are there any plans to either a) make deposit acknowledgements more rapid + consistent a'la MT, Collateral or b) enable debit card deposits a'la FC, ABLrate? Either one is fine, but as it is it feels a bit of a lottery as to whether it'll be 5 minutes or 5 hours for a deposit to take place, and when it's one then the other I get all paranoid that I've sent my money to the wrong place  |

Hopefully to clarify the situation. During office hours deposits are targetted to be carried out approximately every 1-2 hours. The exact timing will vary, depending upon the timing of funds arrival and loans being posted. It can also be affected by other factors such as holidays and (especially recently) availability of online banking.
Today deposits were reconciled at:
07:05, 09:33, 11:26, 12:05, 13:20, 14:09, 14:56, 16:11, 17:12
Final reconciliation will shortly be processed.
Please bear in mind that even if a tracker has been entered the credit to your account will only be made when the funds have cleared in our bank. With FAST transfers that is usually within minutes - but delays can occur between some banks and random security checks occasionally slow down the process.
There are currently no immediate plans to change the system, regular deposits throughout the business day will continue to be made.
Outside of office hours we will endeavour to credit accounts during weekends and evenings, failing which they will be handled during the first reconciliation on the next business day.
Hopefully this helps to at least clarify our current system.
