"...On balance, we suspect that house prices will be essentially flat over the year..."
Could be worse. Now, what's the outlook for student accommodation?!

Student accommodation should be OK provided the supply of foreign students stays reasonable. The tallest building in SW England south of Bristol is a 507 room, 78m tall student hall adjacent to Plymouth university due to complete this summer.

So Bovis have been a bit slow at completing houses, no mention of them being slow to sell, (the 180 have sold) average prices have risen 10% and theyve build 7% more houses. Brexit isnt mentioned in the RNS
Im struggling to see the 'trouble' (Not to say there isnt any just dont think this reflects it)
Mortgage approval slowdown is probably more relevant.
Begbies Traynor data that shows 20% of property related companies are in financial distress is far more concerning

There's been a positive announcement from Persimmon today. (I haven't read it, but since there was a 5% share price spike, it must have been fairly good.) So the problems that Bovis had seem to have been company (or possibly region) specific, rather than affecting the whole industry.
Update: 4% increase in selling price, 8% increase in turnover, unspecified (and rather uncertainly stated) increase in margin, and £913m cash in hand.
