Hi all,
I'm pretty new to property moose and have a small amount invested in this platform.
Only recently have I started receiving rental income from my chosen investments, as there was a period of fund raising and non occupancy.
I am encouraged by the returns and intend to build and scale up my investments.
Does anybody else think an automatic reinvestment option would be good for investments? Without over complicating things too greatly, would it be possible to have an option were rental income from a certain property automatically buys the cheapest shares available for that property if the user so wished?
I'm not sure what incentive could be added regarding fees, but if invested in a property, I assume some some people with a longer time frame (like myself) would benefit from an automatically growing share of properties they are invested in. People who want out on the secondary market would also benefit and a system like this would increase fluidity.
The only glaring problem would be extortionate prices from the seller, but maybe a limit could be added on what a buyer is willing to pay or an independent valuation figure from PM based on returns or capital gains. There must be a potentional happy medium?
PM could perhaps take a smaller administration fee, which would encourage automatic reinvestment, but would benefit from a higher monthly frequency every rental payday.
Be interested to see if anybody else thinks this would be a good idea?

Personally have not bothered with the secondary market I would prefer to wait and invest over time in the new properties.

I am not sure this would be a good idea, you might find you were automatically investing in properties with no tenants. Whereas in time that issue would be resolved you would be better off choosing where to reinvest.
