Hello to everyone! I am investing on bondora from autumn 2013 (when it was isepankur) and I am not satisfied with their service because beautiful XIRR numbers on overview panel are hiding reality. You have to dig in in order to get to know what is really going on. Recently I was looking for any reviews with ratings regarding Bondora in internet and found that there is nothing about them. So I was 1st on Trustpilot.com with my opinion and low rating. Later I saw several other opinions with low ratings, but today I got email from Trustpilot: "Your review has been reported by www.bondora.com to Trustpilot’s Compliance Team because they couldn’t recognize you as a customer. Reported reviews are temporarily moved offline" And I was asked to prove that I am customer of Bondora. Then I saw that those low rating reviews were hided on Trustpilot with information: "Bondora reported this review for breach of Trustpilot guidelines. " And I call on all of you to leave your feedback regarding Bondora on Trustpilot.com - positive if you're satisfied and negative - if not.I think that people who would like to become investor should have more information regarding Bondora. After Bondora closed forum on its own site - to find real information is quite hard. Thanks!

Hello Snowy! In terms of the reviews that got flagged today, these are flagged by Trustpilot, since during their process they are unable to verify some reviews and we have been in contact with them. We have asked them about their verification results on some of these reviews where reference number is either not existing in our data base or not submitted, this was asked already week ago and today was their response to flag those. You can see the reason for being reviewed as the following: "Trustpilot's Compliance Team reported this review for breach of Trustpilot guidelines. We are currently assessing the review in accordance with our reporting processes." All other reviews have submitted their reference number and verified.
Trustpiltot assures that once the reviewer submits information for verification (reference number) the reviews are shown again. Thank you and I apologize for those who have to send additional information to trustpilot.

All the reviews regardless of the feedback given are verified by us and Trustpilot. If the reference number submitted by the reviewer is from the existing customer then there is no need to report it by us or by Trustpilot and vice versa. These currently under investigation by Trustpilot are submitted without the reference number or submitted numbers are not valid.

Does Trustpilot tell you the reference numbers of the reviewers?
I am asking because some companies are known to try to punish people who give accurate bad reviews.

It seems to me that all the reviews currently suspended were made before Bondora joined TrustPilot, so would not have one of their reference numbers for identification.
Those reviewers seem to be much more familiar with the practices of Bondora than the sudden posters of the 20 good reviews, so must surely be genuine investors with in depth experience of placing their money for investment and the result.

I think, in case you want to stay anonymous, it would be fair if you could provide proof to Trustpilot you are/were customer of Bondora that they didn’t share your data with Bondora!
marthaskirta i think the whole story becomes worse and worse. First were only the negative reviews... but then this fake looking very positive reviews.. now the removing of negative reviews...i don’t know what to think about Bondora ...

I certainly would rewrite a review using a bondora account number if i was 100% sure trustpilot dont share the data. Its quite odd, i can write a review for zopa for exemple and they dont ask me for any additional info....Maybe they have less to fear from customers.

I know exactly what I think of Bondora, and I thank all the posters on various threads on this forum over the last couple of years for very quickly helping me decide not to send a single penny to this platform for investment. The recent Trustpilot fiasco appears so contrived that Bondora themselves have cemented my views!

If it became common knowledge that Trustpilot identifies negative reviewers to sites being reviewed, it would surely deter genuine criticism on Trustpilot and devalue the impartial reputation they have now. I hope they will look into this.

The whole story stinks... I will surely put my 1/2 stars to B with verification to TP. I have nothing to afraid.

I'm not sure on how or what Trustpilot will share with us in terms of these flagged reviews (I have never had any experience with them before) but for the rest of the reviews the reference number is seen for us, hence we are able to verify them from our side as our customers. Verification is the only thing we are doing with these reference numbers. I think for every company there it is important to get reviews from their customers who have had experience with the specific company - either bad or good. We are not in a position and it will never be our aim to somehow "punish" those who have have given us criticism (in terms of these reviews - everything were answered there from our side), there is always different opinions on your product and company. We accept that. You don't have to take my word on this since we are audited several times over the year and we are under supervision of several regulators.
