Has anyone any idea why FS statistics page has changed and have now started to put renewals figure as 0 for November and December? If they are putting renewals into new loans figure that is misleading. This would explain why any renewal states "new loan coming tomorrow" with the next line starting "This is a renewal.... ". Bit naughty IMHO. What do others think? FS staff, care to comment please?

Does the fact that Fs are putting rollovers, even distressed ones, into the total amount lent create reporting issues for, say, the default figure? It certainly skews growth figures if used by others reporting market size and growth. I find it strange that the trade association does not state how statistics should be displayed and how renewals should be accounted for.
