In my eagerness to discover the world of p2p and in doing so keep my pennies moderately accessible I've realised I'm really overlooking longer term investments and the entire field of S&S ISAS.
I'm looking to correct this and am verging on diving in with Moneyfarm.
Can anyone offer any first hand experience of investing with them?

Fees look expensive for anyone investing more than about £20k. My fund supermarket of choice (which is TrustNet Direct, but there are others in the same ballpark) charges 0.25%pa up to a maximum capped at £200pa. On holdings of £80k (ie. the cap threshold), that's £200 versus £420 with Moneyfarm. On holdings of £500k (say), that's still £200 versus £2140 for Moneyfarm!

Believe it or not that's exactly how I came across them!! You should get yourself some stars and a representative of your website title on the forum as others do, drive some extra traffic in your direction. 😎

At this point I won't have more than 20k to commit so I can always look at other platforms in the future when this changes. I'm also looking for something hands off which chooses my portfolio based on my choice of risk, I assume Trustnet leaves things more in your hands? Also what is the cap threshold of 80k you refer to?

Yes, Trustnet Direct (and equivalents) are execution only.
All I meant is that their £200 annual fees cap is reached at £80k holdings (£80k x 0.25% = £200)

I signed up using the 20k Managed Free link and have an ISA for both me and the wife. No complaints and I'm happy with the portfolio they have created and how they have rebalanced it. I have a SIPP that I manage myself (bestinvest @ 0.3%) and the moneyfarm portfolio is nicely diversified from my SIPP too. I've communicated with them a few times via email and always had responses and they have been very helpful. No issues and overall in summary I'm happy. If you want a managed passive portfolio I cant really say anything bad about them. One thing I do like is they are really transparent. They give you full details of what they have invested in with full share and fund details. If you wanted you could copy the portfolio into a self managed ISA once you've reached the 20k limit...you would just need to keep.on top of rebalancing every now and again I guess.

I used TCB, many complaints of not tracking/paying out. mine didn't track but a claim seems to have it resolved, although yet to actually pay out.
They use Gocardless, DD's seem to take a long time to process, 4-5 days from leaving my bank to being invested.
I only intend to throw £10k over this year to stay below the fees (was £10k limit when I applied not the £20k some seem to get).
Overall relatively painless, looks expensive for larger amounts. I did it for a little diversification away from my self picked gambles.
They quiz you and rate you as to what type of investor you are and recommend a portfolio based on that although you can decide for yourself.
can't say much more than that, but feel free to ask...
(portfolio is up about 3%)

It's all working ok for me too (my cashback also didn't track initially btw, although now paid). My only concern is that if we're all intending to keep our investments below £10k, where do they make their money? I think most investors happy to go with the product also understand they could probably just buy Vanguard lifestrategy or a self-balanced portfolio. Although even if they go bust, I'm sure we'd be able to retrieve our full investments eventually. Edit: Or they might do something really irritating like introduce the same fees for under £10k as for above down the line.
