Hi fundingsecure, just curious as to whether there are any changes to the deposit process in the pipeline to build upon your good work on the website? A more reliable process I think would help egg on investor activity and SM liquidity. A debit card deposit option would be ideal. For me, It's in the inconsistency that's frustrating - I sometimes deposit and find my account updated within 10 minutes, at other times (more often) it's a few hours. On two occasions, I've had to chase and been told (at first) they can't see my deposit and it wasn't in the last run, and then it's found within the next few minutes. I've deposited today at about 17:00, hoping to be able to invest tonight, but it appears I'm out of luck as everyone's gone home..etc etc...It's all just a little irritating and eminently avoidable. Rant over

Does anyone know if FS still process deposits/withdrawals at least once a day over the weekend? I made a deposit just after 10 this morning (Sat 27 May) but haven't been credited, hopefully I just missed the cut-off, but if anyone can comment on recent their recent experience of deposits at the weekend it may take some of the suspense away (or not)......

Last weekend I made a deposit on Saturday morning and had to wait until late Sunday evening (22:57 from my account history!) for it to be credited. Yesterday I made a withdrawal request at 3pm (ish) and it was processed at 21:31. I wouldn't be concerned but the not knowing is a bit of a pain.

fundingsecure: I made a deposit last night which hasn't been credited today, so I'm unable to invest in the loan that just went live. Did anyone else have a similar problem today? PS. To FS's credit, they have reacted to my email, found my deposit, and credited my account, so I was able to invest after all.

Mikes - thank you for giving us credit for responding - unfortunately we didn't react to your posting / email. The following post explains:
Apologies for the delay in crediting funds to your accounts - nothing to do with us "taking a day off" but simply Barclays deciding to run some upgrades / maintenance this weekend - which has blocked our access at various times.
We weren't able to handle the deposits before the loan went up at 12, but did manage to get one run done shortly after the loan was posted.
Currently, the bank access is again blocked - with no indication from Barclays as to when it will be accessible again. We will continue to monitor, but it may be that further deposits may not be done until Monday morning.

fundingsecure Perhaps a general email to lenders specifically alerting them to potential banking outages would be a good move. These are planned upgrades by Barclays as I have recieved notification from both them and Moneything that there would be issues this weekend. The other option of course is to not launch loans during banking upgrades or, given the outages seem to be intermittent, launch late afternoon/early evening so you have time to credit funds in batches during uptime.

Ilmoro,
thanks for the suggestion - there were indeed announcements relating to updates on the consumer access of Barclays - which was also down for a short period this weekend.
We use a different commercial access method and, unfortunately, Barclays have carried out some form of work, with a "small risk of potential outages" every weekend for the last 3 months. Usually we are able to work around it - but this weekend has been more problematical.
Currently the consumer access is working fine but the commercial access is still down. We have raised the lack of specific notice to the bank but without any resoluton as yet.
We will continue to monitor the position and, hopefully, will continue to be able to work around any ongoing issues.

Thanks I requested one at 2 minutes to 5 this afternoon and it arrived 10 minutes ago. My guess would be that if they are in the office it would be done straight away.
