Way back when, I did a set of polls for a number of aspects of platforms for 2015. That was here: p2pindependentforum.com/post/86176 . Whilst I am a little later this year, I feel that it is time to do it again. So, hopefully next week, I will set up the polls etc.
However, this year, I wanted to add a slightly different aspect. For most of the new categories I have in mind, I'm looking for nominations from the forum at large. Specifically:
Post of the year
Whether this was a great piece of due diligence, some outstanding analysis, a meticulously maintained table on loans or an hilarious joke, which is your best post from 2016? To be eligible it must have been posted in 2016.
Most valuable forum member
It could be someone who loves to help answer questions, welcome new members, provides consistently great due diligence or has the best sense of humour. To be eligible, they must be a forum member and not a platform rep (or similar). Moderators are eligible.
Most valuable forum platform representative
This could be due to their assistance in understanding their products, their responsiveness to questions or their willingness to gather and act on feedback. To be eligible, they must be flagged as a platform rep (or similar).
How to nominate
Please PM me and simply indicate who you want to enter for each category. Maximum one nomination per category per forum member. You can nominate in one, two or all three categories if you choose. To send me a message, click the cog in the top right corner, then 'member', then 'send message'. For the post of the year, ideally send me a link to the precise post. This can be found by clicking the cog on the top right of the post, then link to post and then copy & paste one of the urls it provides.
All nominations close at noon (UK time) on Saturday 11th of February. I will hopefully put up the actual 2016 polls over that weekend.
Any nominations attempted to be made by posting in this thread will not be counted. I will look to answer questions in the below though if appropriate.
I'm hoping that there will be 5-8 most popular nominations in these three categories, but reserve the right to add to the list if insufficient candidates come through this method.
Please note: Similar to last year, these polls have no prizes / cash value
