Either that or we're/I'm stupid?! Unfortunately MT & C can only soak up so much of my Withdrawals. Markets of course are at an all time high but I'm also bunging spondoolies into my ISA with Mr Terry Smith, he who speaks eminent sense and is The Scourge Of The City. With the increasing personal DD burden caused by declining "standards" in VRs & Other Information and general lack of transparency I'm happy to get my life back and pay someone 1% to professionally manage my investments for me whilst I go out to play. I might just do the same. Which broker do you use to hold funds? Maybe I should go for an IT, cheaper to hold in an ISA.

Hi liz, I use Hargreaves Lansdown, they're not the cheapest but they're bloody good. I invest direct with Fundsmith, there's no need to go via a Broker to follow Our Tel.
An IT or Tracker are arguably good choices and certainly up to your Allowance in an ISA, if only to save paperwork at tax time!

This application should be subject to a LNM report. Serious omission. LNM report? Loch Ness Monster report. Gotcha!

Loch Ness Monster report. Gotcha! Great setup and payoff... credit kaya .
Sure had me Googling LNM... is LNM?
If there was an SS-forum post of the week award, this would get my vote and it's only Wednesday.

Is improved communication worth a 3/4% drop in rate? Not for me, it isn't. I can't say. I'm still waiting for the improved communication so I can place a value on it.

9% simply doesn't work for me. Many have moaned for months that SS communication has been poor. Their response was they operated a lean business model by not employing the likes of Paul to communicate with us but this meant they could offer 12% instead of 8/9%. Now Paul and other team members are on board giving extra costs and we're seeing lower rates. Is improved communication worth a 3/4% drop in rate? Not for me, it isn't. Offered rates have nothing to do with SS cost base and all to do with risk. 8 or 9% simply don't reflect the risk involved. At least not for me.

Has it really been ten months since there was any discussion of this loan? (I couldn't find any other relevant thread.) Anyway...
With the arrival in the pipeline of T4 of this loan, bringing the LTGDV up to 24%, I went to the loan description to see whether Lendy might have justified the low interest rate of this loan by setting a low maximum LTGDV. In fact, I couldn't find any mention at all of what the maximum loan size might be!
Am I blind?

In fact, I couldn't find any mention at all of what the maximum loan size might be! Am I blind? It's a relatively small loan and since it is only 9% I suspect most people who are active on here would have shunned it, hence not much discussion. Lendy's justification for lower rates was supposedly to reflect lower risk, and enable them to source more loans. Most on here remain unconvinced that the lower rates really reflect a lower risk and there has already been at least one loan that had to have it's rate increased in order to fill later tranches. For smaller loans there probably is (for the time being) a lower risk as Lendy would likely make up any shortfall from the PF or their margin in order to maintain their claim of no investors losing money.
